At the very end of the show it said in the memory of Dante DiMartino, so is this Michael's dad or did Michael himself die?

If it was Bryan who died we would know by now. Dante is his middle name so its much more likely he was named after a family member named Dante.

I saw that too. Did anyone notice that they changed the ending music specifically for these final episodes? It sounded sadder.
Also, this makes me appreciate the creators even more. They dedicated a whole beautiful series to one person, so I have to assume that this person was pretty incedible.
