    I would be a waterbender in the northern water tribe who is a princess and got sick of royalty to travel all over the world and stalk Katara and Aang who would try to make them get tohether every chance I had. And my pet is a turtle duck

    I would definitely be an Airbender. Nobody really thinks about it, but enough air and you could really manipulate any element by bending the space around it, much like Aang shot out coal in "Imprisoned". It was sudo-earth bending.

    I don't know what kind of bender I'd be, but I'd be a pretty lazy one. I would learn just enough to help me with more daily tasks and jobs, but I would be too lazy to get into hardcore training and become a master. I would live quietly in my own nation with minimum travelling. I know it boring, but Living in the Avatar world wouldn't't really change the way I live.

    Airbending definitely has an edge on the others. It's probably the element most abundant in Avatar. I don't think there's been a single place Aang couldn't bend in, wheras Earth, Water and even Fire benders have been shown in areas where they are helpless.

    What I'm getting at is there has been no place or event that has rendered Aang or any other Airbender unable to access his bending powers so far (other than being restrained or knocked out, in which no bender could bend obviously).

    Fire: Loss completely during eclipse.

    Water: Loss away from water or without the moon

    Earth: Loss away from earth (very easy to do apparently).

    Air: ????


    Nothing has resctricted airbending in the series to date, and I can't think of anything that would frankly, hence why I say it has an edge for having no known weakness in that way.

    I would probably be a merc, considering of messed up everything in that show is.

    The Water Tribes are shutoffs, the Air Nomads are dead, and the Fire Nation pretty much owns the Earth Kingdom.

    I'd make due with whatever I was born with, bender or no.

    I most certainly wouldn't be a cabbage merchant.

    That is true, but air lacks offensive capability.

    Aang, for the most part, uses his airbending to fend off attacks and push people away, or move with high speed.

    I haven't seen the show much, but I think the most offensive thing Aang ever talked about was a wind sword.
