You guys do realize that the next episode is going to basically alter the reality of the Avatar universe. Aang reveals his feelings, we all had a hunch it would happen then, Katara drew back, but what did she say? "Now isn't the time." We have only one day to speculate. We also had the hunch that the play would trigger emotions, looks like we were right. Now we get to stand knee-deep in what we said all those months ago.

He probably won't kill the Fire Lord by direct action. Commercials are used like that to get more attention and hype.

Aang separated from the Ocean by that time. Zhao's death was all the fish's doing.

No, I definitely think he will kill Ozai by direct action. Ozai doesn't just DIE by accident. You've got to hard core kill him. I can't wait to see what BS Nick used to keep the show kid-friendly. But, they seemed to have "forgotten" those rules lately. I hope it applies to the finale.

Violence is sometimes the answer. Saying it "never is" is a false absolute.

"only sith deal in absolutes." Yes you avoid physical conflict, but sometimes words just can't do what a fist(or a nuclear weapon) can. But even in such instances, the fist or WMD is only part of the answer. They are tools to open the door for the complete answer, which comes AFTER the violence. (For instance, relief and recovery aid sent to Hiroshima after the blast.)
