There had to be a change somewhere, or the whole series would be redundant, like if Ozai hadn't finally decided that Iroh and Zuko were liabilities.?? Toph gives a huge, necessary change for Aang and the gang just like Azula gives a huge, necessary change for Zuko and Iroh.
LovelyLarxene - Killing off Toph wouldn't do anything for the Tokka shipping.?? Do you know what happens when a character in a ship dies??? It doesn't stop the hard-core shippers.?? i agree with the Iroh people.?? mako brought life to the character of iroh.??
just to let people know that me and my friends have no lives, we have already thought up an ending to season three through foreshadowing!?? we thing that Aang is gonna die in the Avatar State while fighting Ozai, and then Zuko, Katara, and Toph are going to have to take out Ozai themselves.?? Katara will be depressed later, and zuko will come out and be like, "Oh, it's okay...blahblah blah blahblahblah," and then ask her to marry him....again, we have NO lives whatsoever...
i just can't stand it what all your ppl are telling IROH IS NOT GOING AWAY he one of the best characters hes way to important

Hmm...this thread is about people you'd wish to see dead, right? Regardless of whether or not it will happen?
1.??I'm not gonna lie, the person I'd like to see dead most, or I wouldn't miss at least, is Katara. I mean, in season one I had no problem with her, but imho, she's become a little too anoying for my taste but all you Katara-loving people don't have to worry, chances are she'll never be killed, Aang would be devestated and all that sh*t. The only thing I would miss is the waterbending moves.
2. Azula (she's a b*tch and she's so f*cking mean to Zuko)
3. Long Feng (he'll probably die by end of season 2)

Personally, here's my take on it. Lots of people want Azula, Long Feng, or any other random bad guy to die. Cool, but, in the real world, bad guys don't always get the cliche ending of death or justice catching up to them. Ever read Inkheart? No, well the second most major bad guy ends up getting away scott free. Free as a bird. Which really shows the statement "life isn't fair". So while, some bad guys (aka Zhao) can die and still pull off a great death scene and make it good for the overall plot, i think it would add a little more depth and reality if, say, Azula got away, or really anyone except Ozai, cause he's gonna choke in his own flames!
Now, if someone HAD to die, on say, the good guy side, then......hmmmmm.......I'd think Iroh or Appa (sheds tear) would be the best to die. If Iroh died, then it would finally push Zuko into the "I'm completely matured and now can handle anything" zone, but if Appa died then it would push Aang into the same zone. Not to mention we'd probably get a pretty sweet avatar state out of Appa dying. Then again, each main character has actually dealed with a great loss (Gyasto, Katara's mom, Zuko's mom) maybe no death is needed? I don't know, but these are my thoughts.
