if aang never learnd air bending

    ??hey if aang didnt become a master air bender how would he learn it would he just use wut he new because he would have to go avatar state alot and he would most likly be killed one of those times

    IF Aang never learned airbending, then he would either not be the avatar or not part of the airtemples.

    well it seems that in the avatar world it takes people about a month to master an element (take Katara for example), so i think he had enough time to master air.

    You're right, Aang would have been doomed where it not for his initial knowledge of airbending at the series' start. That's why the creators made him already a master. Because they knew he was gonna have to put some points on the board against Zuko right off the bat to get viewers hooked, and he had to be good at atleast one element to do that.

    It was because Aang (at least mostly) mastered Air and was ready to move on to other things that caused him to run away from the temple and freeze himself. If he hadn't learned Airbending, he wouldn't have left yet.

    the arrow tells tht someone is allready a MASTER in airbending (almost wrote earthbending)

    I think the real reason is he didn't want to be the avatar. He wanted a normal life and the avatar is too much pressure. I think he also feels betrayed. I believe he would have left any other way.

    He wouldn't have reached that point until he was an airbending master though. He was taught everything by Gyatso and one they were done learning so much as practicing, the monks to change things. That made Aang run away.

    Yeah, that's right. Anyway, Sokka said in "The Waterbending Scroll" that Aang had "pretty much mastered Airbending". Therefore, I think they're not going deeper into that.

    If you've bought the dvds, you would know that he has mastered airbending. That's why he has the tatoos. He was also the first monk in his group to master it.
