    Haha, I wanted the Appa plushie so badly too, and the ones (if any) on eBay are way expensive. Now I can't decide on an Appa plushie or a Momo plushie. Blargh.. only thing to do now is GET BOth. Only after I get Zuko, lol.

    sokka, in the commercial: fatheads are the coolest things out there right now. take down your katara posters and??appa plushies and put up some fatheads! ... hey! you callin' me a fathead? [bangs at camera glass] helloooo! go buy a fathead. you, callin' me a fathead?! etc, etc.

    I would but one of those "learn a martial art through tv" DVD's as long as it was avatar related. and probably earthbending or waterbending

    *AHEM* the aang chia pet was my idea ... i posted it on avatar commercials. i know, it doesn't matter, but it's one of the most ingenious ideas of all time and i'd like credit for it.

    As much as I dislike contributing to the merchandising gimmick, came close to gettin one of those Lost Scrolls book thingies. They're considerably inconsistent at certain points, but the backbone behind the information??presented is impressivly detailed and intriguing. And the official art used for illustrations is equally impressive. Kinda makes me really wish they had use the same for the cine-manga instead just ripping and pasting screenshots from the episodes. Anywho here's a little tidbit of the Fire Nation background:??The Nation wasn't always a monarchy, it was once ruled by a council consisted of the Sages up until the Great Sage (the leader and also the most spiritual and powerful) sought to solely rule the Nation without the remaining Sages (ie Lord). This caused an imbalance/struggle for power between the two sects??which lasted for several years until it reached an equillibrium in which Sozin rose to power and the Sages were submitted under his rule. Huh, did not know that.

    So the Fire Nation was like the Roman Republic and Sozin is somewhat like Julius Caesar?
