    Sure she would. Why wouldn't she be? It's not like there's any proof. I mean, how many blind people with heightened sense do you see walking around, that get their sight back and immediately lose their heightened senses?

    Yes, I think Zuko will sucessfully learn lightening, but not for a while. Remember, he's got to learn humility and etc! As for Katara healing Toph's blindness, how could she heal something that she was born with? (or without. Blind at birth usually means that a part of the eye is undeveloped.) Besides, Toph getting her sight back would be LAME. She's awesome because she rocks with a disability, not because Katara is going to magically make all her problems go away with magic water!

    Zuko will probably learn lightening, but probably in the third season. And I don't think Katara could cure Toph's blindness.

    Yeah. You don't see many blind heroes. I only know of Daredevil, and now Toph. Ther'es alos that dude Zatochi the blind samurai. Oh and Kenshi from Mortal Combat, can't forget him. King Snake from BatMan is was blind, but many people don't know him. And then there's Voldo from the?? Soul Calibur games. He's not really heroic though.

    I agree completely. Zuko has way too many issues to be calm enough to lightningbend. Someday he has to learn to grasp the fact that Daddy loves Azula, and not him. And Toph rocks just the way she is. I mean, she's the cool blind earthbending kid! She wouldn't be nearly the same without the blindness...and not have such a cool part in Zutara fanfic..
