I think the reason the book came out, and I could be wrong, was because Nick ordered the book a long time ago thinking the series would be over by May (hey, we all thought it would be over around May), but things made the episode go all the way to july. The books are already made so chances are the publisher would rather want to sell them than wait for the episode to air. I will laugh and claim psychic powers if that's actually true.

Ironic that we'd be happy that something Avatar related is taking a while to come out in places...
Anyway, something that Tomtitan said earlier was that someone who has already read the book has a shipping poster in their sig. This brings up a good issue...

Guys, this is a KIDDIE NOVELIZATION! Srsly, I have a kiddie novelization of Spider-Man 3 and in it Harry's role in the final battle is cut and Venon/Eddie Brock lives, not to mention the whole Sandman redemption scene doesn't take place either! The major beef of the finale is most likely NOT in the book.

I haven't read the book, but I've been getting rather vague spoilers and ones not so vague on CAPSLOCK.
It seems to me is that the book left out a significant amount of info for the sake for the kids. Remember, the book is 64 pages, while the real finale is FOUR EPISODES! Besides, wasn't the finale finished recently, or possibly not even finished yet?
