Hypothetical: If Katara did kill her mother's murderer...

    how would the others have reacted? What would Sokka, Toph, Zuko and Aang think of her if she had done the deed? What would her father say to her?

    Aang would be disappointed, Zuko would be shocked but I don't think he would be angry, Toph would be like "I didn't know you had it in you", and Sokka would also be disappointed. I have no clue on how her dad would react

    If Katara did kill her mother's murderer onscreen... there would be countless lawsuits against Nickelodeon for putting the violence in a Y7 tv show.

    They could've gone for the offscreen death. They did it all the time on Superman/Batman/Batman Beyond/Justice League.

    None of those shows were on Nick though. Nick is more used to stuff like Spongebob & Fairly OddParents.
