    There are firebender like Iroh would happily join in on the insult for fun.
    Toph would attack the person and then smartly insult them.
    Zuko would have to deal with it, but he would be angry.
    Katara would waterbend the person or be shocked that the person had insulted her.
    Sokka would try a comeback but fail.
    Aang wouldn't get it and simply consider it a joke.
    Azula (considering if anyone would be brave enought too insult her) would smile and go along with it... then attack and humiliate the person, then provide a smart remark.

    This topic amuses me

    for its is the generalization of a fictional ethnic group

    formed from steryotypical personalities

    based upon the element which they interact.

    It also goes to prove

    that all benders other then air

    are all asses.

    I mean Azula would be playing her sweet little girl act and then blast the person. I can just see someone insult her, she takes it and acts nice in an obviously going to kill the person kinda way. The when there backs turned, she attacks and then makes a smart remark. Or she would let them finish, then blast them.

    I know but all the people that bend the same element aren't just one ethnic group, Waterbenders include the ones at the poles and the swamps who are WAY different, nor are all member of them benders.
    Anyway, can you honestly say you can imagine an Earthbender being passive.
