    Well after 3 seasons of fire nation bulls*** and your mother's been killed by them. Wait wait wait, I don't think you understood that. Not imprisoned, not paralyzed, not taken away. I mean OUTRIGHT KILLED. I mean look back at the Northern Air Temple episodes with the weapons. THAT killed.

    Certain expectations are made of you and, oh! what a suprise Zuko's grandfather just happened to leave Roku to die and oh! another suprise, his father.. became a firelord and did some really messed up s***. In fact it wouldn't have suprised if Katara's mother was executed by him!!!

    Anyway, Katara needs to just find it in her heart to totally forgive Zuko. And if ZUKO could tell her the WHOLE story about his life, his scar, the mysterious disappearance of her mother. They might just find something in common (No zutara intended) and she might forgive him.

    I am under the mindset of who cares? He doesn't need to gain her trust, he has Aang's trust and that is all that he needs. If the leader or boss approves of you, that is all you need. Aang is the leader of the group, without him there is no group, and everyone knows it.

    For example, if you work for the Bush administration, if you got W. on you side, who cares Chaney or Rice or anyone else in the administration thinks of you.

    The idea that Zuko and Katara need to become friends is false. They don't need to. They can win this war by just professional allies. Not everyone has to be freinds with everyone. I am sure there are many past Avatars in which their element teachers didn't get along.
