Thought about this after seeing Zuko alone again.?? Iroh seems to be a good deal older than Ozai after comparing a few of the flashbacks
1. when Iroh is writing to Zuko and Azula from the seige of Ba Sing Se he looks pretty much just like he does now except with black hair, his face is still pretty mature looking.?? We also know Lu Ten is fully grown at this point considering his picture and that he died shortly afterwards
2. Ozai's face by comparison is a good deal more youthful, and Zuko is still in mid-childhood.
my guess is that at the time period of the flashbacks (when Ozai took the throne) Iroh is about in his mid-40's to early-50's...Ozai on the otherhand seems to be in his early to mid 30's.?? With that kind of age gap between them I doubt they would of ever been that close.
add about 5-6 years to arrive at the time frame of Zuko's banishment and add another 2 years for time in exile and Iroh would be in his early or mid 60s while Ozai would only now be his early to mid 40s.?? Just my guess of course.
