Most people think that zuko will turn good but that Azula is evil. That really is not fair because at this time in season one he was as bad as her.

In episode one Zuko killed one of his crew members with a fireball because he was pissed at Iroh.

in episode 2 Zuko tretened to kill the whole water tribe along with little kids.

In episod 3 he burned down kyoshi just to find the avatar.

He retained his evilness till the episode the storm which was 12 of season one giving zuko more episodes before showing his side. When Azula gets a storm episode for her then I think they may show her good side. Right now she has broken shells. Tried to capture Iroh and zuko (on orders). She fought back at them after zuko attacked her. She called Zuko many mean names. She only fought people that she needed to fight when they were in her way. She tried to capture the avatar under orders. She only hurt Iroh because she needed to escape Aang runs away all the time that doesn't mean he has no honor.

Shows like Avatar seem to resist killing off strong female villains, and oftentimes they are converted.?? At this point, anything is possible, but I think she'll avoid a tragic end.??

Likewise, the fact that Zuko was so evil shows why significant parts of most episodes are spent humanizing him; it's evidence that his character is obviously being prepared for something.

As for Azula turning good, all bets are off.?? Anything could happen now.?? I do think it would require some tragic event to change her persepctive, or it wouldn't be believable.?? Of course, she could do some "5-second chanage of character" as she sees something happen to a friend, which would be the most cartoonish way to go about it.?? That, however, would be the worst option in my mind.

In the first episode, he didn't kill one of his crew members. He blasted him with fire, which is still evil, but not to the extent of murder. If one fire blast could kill someone, Zuko would have died a long time ago.

I'm not sure about the second one. It did seem like he was trying to intimidate the water tribe, but I don't remember him actually threaten them.

Your're absolutely right that he did do somethings that were evil in the first seacon, and even in the second season, but he also did some good things. Azula, however, has not done one thing that can be considered good. That's the difference between Azula and Zuko. It seems more like hes more confused than evil, but Azula is a crazy sociopathic firebending prodigy. Not exactly a good combination.

umm just to let you know he knoked the guy unconsious not kill him mate

and about Azula being good not much of a chance i think she is evil to the ground i mean she was corupted, tough and brought up to be what she is now pure evil i mean i dont think she will just og good like that and i dont want her to she's better off eveil i mean it will ruin everything if she went good like Zuko tough im not sure if he's fully on the good side.

I think the only real way to maker her good would be for her father to try eliminating her.

I really doubt that. She'd probably get really pissed if that happened. I don't think any one thing can make her good. She'd have to go through a series of humbling events in her life to actually make her good, and even that has a very slim chance of working.

We've already got Zuko to be the misunderstood firebender who everyone thought was evil but really wasn't. I doubt the writers would create another one, especially one related to Zuko.

Azula is evil to the core. Evidence from the episode "Zuko Alone" proves her evil because she constantly puts down Zuko, her uncle (Iroh), and even her friend. She saw that her friend had a crush on Zuko and she purposely embarassed them both. She wanted Iroh to give up his title as Fire Lord because his heart was good, and wanted her father to replace him because she knows her father is merciless. Even her mother commented "what's wrong with that child." Zuko, on the other hand, will probably end up becoming Aang's sifu. For one thing, Uncle Iroh is teaching him how to be a good person and a good bender. Furthermore, Zuko has never displayed any evil in any episode or season. First of all, he chases the avatar to regain his honor and his father's love. He doesn't do it jsut to be evil. Many times, he is frustrated because he has to work so hard whereas his sister picks things up so easily. Evidence in the episode with his mother shows his goodness. He was always a good boy, following his mother wherever she went. He can actually understand why Iroh was so sad after his son died. Azula had no emotion and saw that as a person's weakness. This shows that Zuko is actually human; whereas Azula is ignorant of the goodness in the world. (very much like Cathy in the novel, "East of Eden" by John Steinbeck.

What good things did Zuko do before the episode the storm?

The main reason that Azula is mean is because her family. Her mom doesn't like her and zuko is Iroh's favoite over Azula. Zuko has his uncle to help him with morals. If Zuko was more in the firelords favor and Azula and Iroh got along there positions would be switched. The reason azula did that stuff is only orders from her dad.

As long as Azula keeps her attitude, her life(DON'T DIE!) and most importantly, her HAIRSLTYLE, i'm fine with whatever happens.

While I understand your point of view, I think it is incorrect to assume Ursa didn't like her daughter. Ursa thought it would be good for Zuko to play with his sister (which Azula was counting on to play her prank). Ursa was concerned about her daughter mental state after hearing her basically wish another family member dead (What is wrong with that child? - said in a concerned questioning tone, not anger). The one time we see Ursa be impatient is right after Azula is taunting Zuko with the idea that their father is going to kill Zuko when she says in a stern voice "It's time for a talk".

Ursa did not strike me as someone who would stay in a marriage out of fear, so I question the concept that her relationship with her husband or children was not loving. The whole Ozai/Azula vs. Ursa/Zuko notion just doesn't ring true to me. Certainly I can be giving Ozai more credit than he deserves, but I just find it hard to believe something good isn't (or wasn't) there for Ursa to have married him.

Azula has shown herself to be quite a manipulator. Some may say she got that from Ozai, but I don't think that is necessarily so. If that were the case, why would Ursa question what was wrong with Azula? I would think she would??say something else along the lines of there goes her father's daughter or something like that.

Iroh has shown he will give compassion to anyone who deserves it. If Iroh says she's crazy (something he hasn't even said about his brother), then that pretty much seals the deal for me.

Why do people keep saying that Azula is evil becasue her mom didn't like her. Ursa never said she didn't like her. She just said "What is wrong with that child?", which, considering the circumstances, is expected. I mean, Azula was always talking about death of people in front of Ozai's succession.

Azula is not the way she is because she was neglected, but rather the opposite. Even Zuko said she was the favorite child, and that everyone adored her. She's just power hungry and will do anything to advance her position.

As I had previously stated, Azula is not evil JUST because everyone her mom doesnt like her. She is born that way. Some people were born with physical deformities. If that is possible, isn't mental deformities possible too? Ursa just saw that her daughter was one of those mentally deformed children. That's purposefully done to show the viewers that Azula is evil.
