Lisa, you have NO idea how good it is to see you and not your impersonator.

Well, I remember seeing a commercial for Avatar, but like always, the commercial sounded terribly corny. Plus, I was getting tired of American anime. But, I was interested a little bit, so I went to Nick.com and tried to get more info. They talked about Aang, Katara, Sokka, Zuko, and maybe Iroh. So I decided to check out the premiere.

Wasn't I surprised when I found the show to be good? I would watch Avatar when I could, but I wasn't obsessed with it. I got into it more and more right before S3 was going to air. Then I found the wonders of the internet community and became a full-blown nerd.

    It's good to be seen.

Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network pretty much show non-stop whenever my youngest brother is around. It was only a matter of time before I saw it.

Well actually ive been watching it on and off since the first season. Australian TV is pretty abysmal for showing Avatar on regular basis as we have five-six free channels. Our Nick channel is on pay TV aka American cable or wateva, which alot of people don't have and my family dont have. But I saw Avatar on the ABC kids channel late 2005, it was the Jet episode and I liked it alot. They played the first season like 3 time over the next year on and off, they'd skip episodes then pull it off then start again, so i constantly had to check when it was on. Kinda gave up til i moved outta home.

May 2007 was cruising tv.com and was looking at Naruto or something, and it was like IF YOU LIKE THIS SHOW YOU MIGHT LIKE......AVATAR!! I was like HEY i memba that *see I though avatar was like you know one of those random one season things, then I read the synopsis and was like HOLY **** this thing is huge. And since Harry Potter ended soon after, i dl all the episodes (alot of internet credit), and for the first time over the course of a week watched the entire first two seasons back to back. ABSOLUTLY LOVED IT!!!!!! Then found out about season 3 and AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

So thats my Avatard story. And i actually kept track of it on Australian TV, Nick Aus has only JUST showed Season 3 and ABC, lol i saw the second season at the beginning of this year, and they only showed it to Zuko ALone. Terrible. SO now you see why some os us are so desparte for internet downloads.

Oh and Lisa thought I would pop out and say good to see you and not your evil twin.

I say evil twin because she/he doesnt deserve to bear or be called by your name.

I watched the commercial. Is there really any other way besides by flipping channels?

I found some images of Zuko on the net, and then i watched a video on youtube that was a tribute to Iroh. The ending scene of that video was when Iroh is shot by Azula and everyone thinks he's dead(just before that scene i thought that Iroh was an interesting character). After that video i wanted to know what happened to Iroh and so i decided to watch the show. Obviously i also read the story and i liked it.

I was a really big Danny Phantom fan before Avatar came. I only watched nick for DP. Then Avatar came and started taking all the DP times. I was really ticked. I started hating the show even though I had never seen it. I finally watched it a week later later and got hooked. The next day I watched the premiere of the Southern Air Temple.

I saw the first ever comercial, and decided that I'd check it out when it premiered. I wasn't able to see it on premier night, but asked my younger cousin about it. He said it was pretty good, so I watched it with him and instantly liked it (mostly because of Zuko's character). Ever since, I watched it every week a new episode was on.

I feel like I answered this question a while ago on this forum.
