I only saw the last 15min or so of the Earth King because of work, but
i was deeply disappointed by the gaang's IMPULSIVENESS in the last part
of the episode! Were their separate journeys SO IMPORTANT that they
couldnt wait 15 MINUTES to make sure everything was OK before going
    on! they coulduve:

1 - at least escorted the blind girl toph to her moms and made sure everythings ok

2 - coulda stuck around to see the kyoshi warriors

but i guess katara will have to take care of EVERYTHINGS HERSELF!

and for the record Long Feng getting arrested like that was WAY 2 EZ, i knew something was up.

had they stuck around for 15 more min that woulda prevented a lotta
problems. POOR decision making! maybe bad writing on the creators parts, w/e, thats my two cents...

Jeez...the oldest among them isn't even 15 years old...you put a bunch of young teenagers by themselves and expect them to make wise decisions? that's only natural...and a great job by the writing staff...where's the conflict if they take every precaution?

No, not facing the fast-approaching deadlines of the eclipse and comet. They have no time to spare in executing any plans once they're made, which I'm glad has finally apparently sunk in.

They're in the largest city in the world. They think they're safe. It's time to switch disks and hit a save point, blah, blah, blah. They're not thinking that they're about to get picked off one by one. Long Feng was thier only threat. They're not worried about anything right now.

I thought Sokka was @ least 16.?? Anyway, they are a lot more mature than typical teenagers.?? Each has had to grow up faster because of the war and take more of a responsibility.??

Mature people still do really stupid things. They're too optimistic, a lot of stuff has happpened, no time to digest and review.

Lol. And splitting up was the stupidest thing they could do.

Gawd, have they even bothered to watch Scooby doo? They ALWAYS split up and look what happened to them....grr.

Splitting up needed to be done. Probably the dumbest thing here was leaving Katara behind in Ba Sing Se instead of Sokka, b/c Sokka is a billion times better at planning.

mmm..I dunno. They ARE pretty mature, but I agree that they could've spent a few minutes to help Toph get to her "mom's" house and to stick around for the Kyoshi girls. ??

But, guys. She should know by now that her parents are (censored...)!! Even her mom.?? It's common sense! I saw it coming from the second they said she got a letter from home.

    :/off topic

    :/rant(I'm done.)

Maybe they thought?? they wouldn't be apart for long? A few days tops. They were probably thinking what could go wrong in two days when everything is going so well...Darn that positive attitude.

Yeah, I would've thought Sokka would stay in Ba Sing Se to see Suki first before going on his trip instead of just taking off?

Yes it seemed very stupid considering they had reject that idea before, but I figured the writers had their motives.

Yeah Sokka is pretty much in love with Suki, so him taking off without at least flying by them and saying hello didn't make much sense. Also I agree the Toph should've seen that coming. And what ever happened to that whole see through vibration thing. It's like it disappeared this episode except for when they entered the palace (one of the coolest 5 minutes of Avatar ever IMHO). I also don't get why the Earth Kingdom would need either Sokka or Katara to help them plan...lets see: Consult a 14 year old girl or 5 high ranking generals with alot of military experience? Yeah I'd definatly go with the girl (sarcastic)

You know they only have one season left to wrap up this series and we have to follow Aang while keeping an eye one Ba Sing Sa and the only way to do that is to have the characters split up it's called plot!

But my god am I the only one that is shocked to hell that the writers are actually doing something about Zutara? I mean my god I just thought this was blind fan shiping and the writers had no intent on doing it but...Wow!

    Color me surprised.
