The next Book Fire, is when the epic final battle of the war takes place. The Comet that will give the Fire Nation so much power, that no one can beat them will occure in Book Three.

The whole original story will conclude at the end of next season.

What would happen if the show has a 4th season? Michael and Brian original vision is for three season. Will they continue the show, even if it compromises their artest vision? How will the show look?

If there is a 4th season, there will probably be a whole new open credits. The show will be drasticly different, after the epic final battle.

If there is a Book 4, it might be the Jump The Shark moment.

There will most likely be a 4th season the original story will probably conclude itself with the 3rd season. But Avatar at the moment is drawing in a lot of money. I can see it continueing after the 3rd season just on a diffrent topic.

A way to describe it would be. You know in Dragonballz you have the Freiza Saga, Cell, and Android. Well I think one part will conclude now and it will move on to another subject. I could be far out though.

I know the whole thing was planned for only 3 seasons, but there is easily potential for a??4th season if not a total of 7 (if they use the other 3 chakras). With that potential, and Avatar being so hugely popular, Nick will probably coerce them into the 4th with a load of cash.

Nickelodeon wants their to be a 4th season, if not a 5th season. They are not going to cancel the show, anytime soon.

But the question is, does Michael and Brian have anything planned past season 3? As it stands now, when Avatar ends, it will be Michael and Brian's call.

If there was a book 4 I would want it to be about events during the 100 years Aang was missing.

Season 4 might be about how Aang has to help the world after the war.

Or, Season 4 might be about a new avatar and new characters.

If there is a 4th season I hope there is a dark Avatar, where Aang has to save the world the dark Avatar tries to destroy it he relativly has the same abilities but chooses the path of evil and power, Yeah that would be pretty tight.

or... having already solved all earthly troubles, there could be an alien threat, a threat that could be linked to how the avatars originally started. and maybe *cough*inthefanficI'mintheprocessofwriting*cough* the key to defeating this advanced alien race has something to do with the same thing that makes bending possible. it's just a fanfic, but it's looking really good so far, and i'm just at the beginning of the planning stage.

I think that in the end of season 3, Aang is going to defeat the firelord.?? In season 4, I think the world will be in chaos, because of the fire nation losing its leader.?? People will be divided in their views toward the other nations.?? The fire nation is probably going to be split in half.????Some??of the fire nation will want peace, and some won't.?? Probably the same in??the other nations.?? Some people will want to kill all the fire nation people and some won't... ??Aang will have to find some way to put a stop to the trouble and restore balance.?? That's what I think.

Maybe the 4th book will be a prequel to season 1. Or maybe it'll show the whole story from the fire nations pov.

i know! then the new characters have to be twice as good as the criginal characters for us to like them as much, and that's too much pressure on the writers.

what does jump the shark mean exactly?

In some TV show years ago they had a character ski jump over a shark to get ratings, and that officially spelled the end for that show. Now "jumping the shark" is a phrase for when a tv show has betrayed itself to get ratings, usually adding some gimmick or whatever.

But, me? I say the reason the show is called "Avatar: The Last Airbender"??and "Avatar: The Legend of Aang"??is cuz the??name of the show is "Avatar" so another season could be called "Avatar: The Something else or other" with a new Avatar, new plot, new characters...the works...Bryan and Mike have wowed us again and again. I don't think you can be a fan of this show and say "I hope they don't make a 4th season, cuz it won't be as good." I have no doubts the creators have a general idea of where they might go with this show. Though as I've said before, the 2nd season just ended, we probably shouldn't worry about a 4th season until we're atleast halfway through season 3...
