As Masterofaones and UGamer08 pointed out there have been many threads like this before. The general consensus here is that the Avatar audience is about 55% 12-19, 30% young adults 20-27, and about 10% parents who watch the show with their kids. A few people on this board don't fit into those categories, they go in the remaining 5%.

    Personally, I'm 24.

Mr Maki(sp.) says it in like every sentence. There is a freaking song called "it easy m'kai" in the south park movie.

God dam it, I???m tried of people asking me that, I'm old enough to smoke (I don't smoke) I'm old enough to drink (I don't drink), I'm old enough to vote (I do that, but it useless). I'm not old enough to buy ultra-porn: but some day I'll walk into a video store and say "I want the one with the midget and the dead ho!" and they will see my gray hair, my cane and my giant bottle of viagra and they will finally sell it to me!

24, today, happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me.

Why are some of yous complaining about being asked how old you are? You didn't have to answer the question. Anyway I'm 18 and The Avatar is great.

    I'm 19.
I didn't really like it all that well, but still watched it when it was on, until I saw Zuko's real characteristics. Unfortuneately, I moved in with my dad after that and he doesn't have cable. That and my brother won't tape it and we both ran out of room on our harddrives for more digital recordings...
(resumes reading episode recaps to see what's going on with Zuko)

It should be pretty obvious that the question thing isn't the problem (except for one guy) its that fact its been done before. Now I'm not one of the guys who'll jump down you're throat for a duplicate thread, but what I don't get is why its still going on when the link thingie is right here in front of you.

Okay... either I'm the oldest one here OR the only one willing to admit it and type it in (and by the way, my husband would be the oldest but he can't type worth a damn)...

I'm 38, he's 40, kids 5 & 7... and we all LOVE Avatar. See, I'm old enough to be most of your moms... too funny!

    Actually-How old are you?

I am 38... born 1968 at Fort Dix NJ... REALLY!?? I was gaming before gaming was cool... my husband is an avid Bookcase gamer (i.e. Squad Leader, Power & Perils, Death Dungeon, Judge Dregg, etc...)... We are also MAJOR RPGers for video games and owned the original Final Fantasy on Nintendo when it was debuted - Khaos was the final boss - 2000 hit points.?? Another video game was Ultima, first released on Nintendo and we spent HOURS travelling the land "digging" to find treasure.?? My sister is an owner of the original robot for Nintendo and it still works...?? Let's not forget Intellivision and was originally made and licensed thru Sears... how about that game Space Spartons for intellivoice and B17 Bomber ("that was not the target")... I could go on and on if you would like.?? We have owned every video system that has every been released minus Xbox since we are not big first shooter people.?? The reason our kids are much younger than an average 38 and 40 yr old is because we were having too much fun ourselves and now we are still having fun - only exception is as a family!??

    Does that answer your question?

Well...as I realized the duplicates thread was not working so I kind of deleted.

I swear, though, if another of these threads pops up....
