If this show has ever aired in Japan? My mom keeps asking that and I don't really know the answer to that.

I think it has. I remember on a thread a while back someone saying that the Japanese liked it because it didn't set out to be funny. Could be they just watched it on youtube or something, though.

Someone should find a Japanese torrent of it and download a episode and host it on Youtube.

    Let's be fair.

Invader Zim, Powerpuff Girls, and South Park have all reached a certain degree of fame in Japan.?? Those are the ones that occur to me off the top of my head, mind.?? There may well be others.?? But don't knock American animation as a whole.

True that. I dislike how some see anime as God gift on Earth. How some believe adding a couple of animes to a channel is gonna automatically make it improve. There are some especially exceptional animes, (Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Kenchin, Big O,) but overall they're kinda the minority when looking at the big picture, as a whole most animes are a victim to certain flaws, the most prevailent being limited animation.??But yeah overall, animation is taken with a higher respect in Japan, but there's still some pretty good stuff in America. I just personally think that, in terms of Animesque, Amerime, or whatever the hell people call it this week, Avatar is the first to get it right, then Boondocks. So that what, 2-14?

^ True. Heck if it wasn't for Disney we would not even have anime.
