Sure we can. We can just say time is meaningless and that all things end and time no matter what rolls on. But that would be more trouble then it is worth.

I understand time about as much as I understand advanced calculus. Not alot would be an understatement.

I still vote that time is an illusion(No, I'm not ripping that off of avatar) and that it doesn't really exist, it's all just in our imagination. It's something that doesn't really exist, but it's something that humans "created" in order to keep record of events. I severely doubt that time travel is possible because of this reason. I can't even imagine what kind of power it would take to turn back, or speed up time. Even doing so in isolated areas would probably prove disastreous. Like if you speeded up time around your hand, say, to 1000 times regular time, your hand would probably "die" in a few seconds because it didn't get the stuff the rest of your body needs to keep working. Therefore, I deem time to be an illusion in our minds. Alternate realities, that's another thing.

Still, I agree with you when you say that claiming time to be meaningless would prove more trouble than it's worth. A mob of angry scientists have already tried to gun me down.

All mods are doing that, stop acting so paranoyd. They don't seem to want to answer anyone about anything, and I know because I've sent over a dozen messages about questions I had, and not one has been replied to.

Well all of mine were on-topic, or at least dealed with something important. I don't think they're answering to messages that are already answered in those topics explaining the rules. But those topics are dozens of pages long, and I doubt anyone has the patience to go over them to find the answer they want. They're lazy in my opinion, trying to get long rule-topics to answer everything because they're getting too lazy to answer things themselves.

Well time exist as in a measurement. As for future time travel it is possible. All you would need to do is travel at the speed of light for a year in your terms then come back to Earth. A year may have passed by to you but many years would have passed by on Earth. I use to know how to word it better but I just cannot think of it right now. It is sort of like being in a fast car that does a quarter mile in 10 seconds. It may be only ten seconds but it seems like much longer. Now that is assuming you could travel at the speed of light or faster. If you where able to travel though a black hole where light bends you may find yourself elsewhere in the universe at another time more then likely the far future. Think of it like standing on Earth. You look up at the night sky and see stars. Some of those stars may have burnt out millions of years ago. But their light is just now getting to us. So in effect we are looking into the past.

Yeah, I saw all this stuff on the discovery channel. So we can sort of look at the past, but can't travel to it. I don't classify the moving-at-near-speed-of-light-speeds(because I'm almost positive it's impossible to travel faster than that) as time travel, because some time still passes for you. I look at it more like some kind of cryogenic freezing process, without the freezing part, because all that's really happening, is that you're just moving and aging really, really slow.

The drawback is, highschool kids think you can't be popular and smart at the same time. No, I did not rip that off.
