Happy Ending

If only one of the heroes could get their happy ending, who should it be?

Although having said all of that, I don't wish a sad ending on any character. I love every single character, even the bad guys, who I love to hate, and don't want any of them to die.

    MEANIE !

he is my least favorite character

    why ?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!

he is just so....bleh i just dont like his character. he has the least character development and is just annoying

Aang's my least favorite too. The fact that he's gaga over Katara makes me hate him and the series finale spoilers make me hate him anymore.

And I dissagree, Zuko suffered way more than Aang. I strongly feel that if any of the characters is a victim, it's Zuko.

Aang can't die. He's the last airbender. If he dies, the world is permantly thrown out of balance.

    Unless...

Lets not forget different people handle pain and loss differently. Some cry, others drink, a few cut themselves, etc.

A guy who lives in the Balkans, where there's constant feuding, may see his best friend killed. This person would probably handle the loss better than someone who's lived their life in a relatively peaceful environment.

It also depends on your personality and outlook on life. A Nilihist or an upbeat optimist would be a lot harder to upset than a emotional, poetry-reading person.

In the end, they've all had it pretty rough and they're all risking their lives to save the world. So don't they all deserve to find some kind of happiness?

You hate the main character (which I don't understand because you really like Avatar) and you don't want a happy ending? I have nothing to say to that. That is just...wow.

*sees the thread title, bites her lip to keep from making dirty joke*

Um.. Everybody? Actually.. No.. I don't mind seeing Azula suffering a little bit. I love her, but she has done some pretty terrible stuff.

And Ozai too. But I think everyone else deserves a.. happy ending. >__________>

he cant get in trouble for it either!

Angry Dad: "What did you do to my daughter?!"

Aang: "I am saving an entire population. Do you want the loss of peace for the world on your hands?"

    Angry Dad: "Well, no but-"

    Aang: "Good. That's settled."

Zuko hasn't suffered his entire life. With the exception of the past 3 years he's been the prince of the most advanced nation in the world. Besides, Zuko's made up for his three years of suffering by sticking it to the person who caused it, his father, and giving him the bollocking of the century. If anyone's suffered it's Aang, he's the victim of genocide, the last timelo-I mean-airbender. And the difference between the two of them? Zuko's reaction to suffering is emowail and anger, Aang's reaction is to put the past behind him and enjoy his current life.

Your past isn't important, it's how that affects you as a person that is.

Yeah i loved when Zuko did that but i think you made the point yourself- Aang put the past behind him and enjoys he's current life. Also the point about Zuko only having dealt with this for 3 years isnt completely true- he has had issues with his father for years and never got accepted by him, instead he got his love from his mother who he then lost. Even if we dont count the probs of these earlier years it atleast adds 2 or 3 years of living only with his A-hole father and munipulative sister.

You then top that by being physically assualted and bannished by your own father. To top that off he then was marked a traitor by him and all possibility of going home removed.

Zuko however has struggled for years with no one but his Uncle until now. He couldnt even appreciate that till too late due to having been so scared by family.

Aang on other hand had 12 happy years of friends and family. Even after he was frozen and discoverd airbenders dead (im not underestimating impact this was, it was huge) he met new ppl and formed a new family. Of the two id think Zuko would probably need more of break and a happy ending than Aang, who does of course deserve one

Here's a crazy, came out of nowhere idea. What if more than one person had a happy ending?
