If you can work Photoshop, you can work Gimp.

Real alter/siggy/banner makers use Gimp.

I make all my alters and signatures and banners with Gimp. It rocks. If you need help, PM me. I've given other members tutorials before, and I'm happy to help.

The best way I can describe it is that you take a bunch of different pictures and stick it into another blank image..or at least that is what I do..

Yeah, but you use photoshop, don't you? I'll try with GIMP, altho' I have no idea how to do the transparency and the blending.
