Third season episode 13. Mark my words.

I think I get it. It is the same thing with Aang learning bending.

    BENDING:
Chapter 9: The Waterbending Scroll, Season 1

Chapter 9: Bitter Work, Season 2

He learns his bending in those chapters. Maybe Chapter 9 in Fire he'll learn fire.

For his theory about 13, it makes sense.

Season 1, Chapter 13:??The Blue Spirit

Season 2, Chapter 13: The Drill

can u explain the drill n blue spirit part? I don't know how they are connected with the war balloon? The drill maybe, but blue spirit?

Maybe it is just The Drill. Sorry.

I get where he's coming from. Just like when I called Azula almost killing Aang and it happend in "The Drill." I also brought up "what could be powerful enough to kill Aang in the Avatar State?" then I said a well placed lightning bolt maybe? I've been searching for when I said that but that thread could have been locked or deleted...

What if they already used the ballons? Why would the Earth King's guards have surface to air rocks? Not exactly many things in the Avatar world that can fly ya know What if they tried the war ballons but got shot down and then they switched to the drill?

That's feasible too but it is also possible that they just had the surface to air rocks in case of airbenders attacking too.?? Remember that this is a world that has been around for a long time and we do not know all of their experiences.??
I think the balloons will come into play in the next season.?? The writers seem to remember things that they have written and will ensure that they tie up the loose ends.

First of all, airbenders have been thought extinct for a century. Secondly, airbenders don't attack. they defend and evade. Thirdly the rocks could also be used for threatening to smash intruders and/or carrying out that threat.

The throwing rock things could be for a ground force invasion. Those rocks have to land somewhere right?

There are many forgotten characters they might be very important in a near future in season 3.
