I take French and am semi-confused. But I heard it's easier to learn a language if you like in a country that speaks it and have to learn how to use it. Since i'm just motivated by trying to get an advanced diploma so i can got to college and not suck at life I take it. But i love other cultures and wish that some stuck up We're-all-that Americans would stop ruining it for the rest of us who don't think we're the light of the world.

Yeah, I think that here in the United States we don't interact with foreign languages that often, so we???re not motivated to learn them when we???re children.

Sure, we have a very diversified country, with a variety of different peoples and backgrounds, but usually after a few generations we loose our native tongues. I???m Qu??b??cois Canadian, Irish, German, and Russian (a mut), but my family hasn???t spoken any of those languages since my grandparents were infants.

Anyways, I???m curious to see what Avatar sounds like in different languages, anyone know where I can hear that?

    Noooooooooooooo, you DON'T !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know for other languages but in french it stinks !!!!!!! They don't even translate the jokes properly, ok it might be funny the first 5 sec but after it just get annoying.

??i live in brazil... avatar in portuguese sucks! toph's voice in her 1st episode was too girly, zuko's voice makes he look 4 years older than he is and they didn't dub(sp?) the fighting scenes... the sound edition in the 1st book was terrible x_x...sometimes i wished that avatar was from WB or disney.. they would make a good version...like jetix did with Oban star racers here...x_x AND...we're still on the episode 2x08 x_x at least in this episode toph's voice was better...the voice actress was Really acting x_x the only good thing in our version is sokka's voice xP please..don't say you wanna see the other versions..

im mexican, i usually see it saturday morning in youtube, normally i find it in 3-10 minutes, THANK GOD FOR RECORDERS!!, also in mexico the voice of toph is SO girly, it really really really really really really really really sucks, but all the other voices are ok, specially aang's i dont know why but i prefer aang's mexican voice than the american one, but here the tittle of the opening is always different, from: the last airbender, to the legend of aang, and even "war of the elemets" in one episode, and here we are in the chase
