Fire Lord Oazi listened to his son with contempt, "If I am going to rule this nation someday I need to learn as much as I can."?? His son was a fool; he should never have spoken; Azula would never have concerned herself with the soldiers, but offer a better plan.?? The war room had heard how his son wanted to??protect the pawns instead of capturing the queen.?? It was all Iroh's fault.?? Iroh was dangerous to his position as Fire Lord.?? If there was only a way to get rid of him without anyone guessing he was behind it.?? That's when it struck him. If he were to banish Zuko,?? Iroh would never??forsake a??family member...

...After the North Pole... The fire nation had suffered heavy losses.?? The guarantee that the Avatar is back is breaking the support for the war.?? There were rumors of plots against the Fire Lord.?? To keep the Fire Nation from civil war, they might replace Oazi with Iroh or Zuko --legal heirs to the throne.?? To be on the safe side, keep the last heir busy by having her chase??Zuko, Iroh,??and the Avatar around until Sozen's comet arrives.

I came up with this hypothysis after watching the Storm and Zuko Alone.?? I just thought it was strange that Oazi would make sure all who have a claim to the throne are out of the fire nation after?? a major defeat.??And??Azula mentioned plots.??Tell me what you think.

Well, Oazi??considers Iroh is a traitor to the Fire Nation, and probably was always jealous that he was meant to be Fire Lord; also We've never seen Oazi leading battles; Iroh has.?? At the time, Oazi could have thought the loyalty of the armies was with Iroh because he wouldn't go sending all of the troops on suicide missions.?? This is just a guess.

That's a really interesting theory and it seems very valid. That is all .

This goes against my theory of the suffering teaching Zuko, though both are possible. Still, the overthrow thing is a lie. Azula used it to try to capture Zuko. Ozai is safe in his position. The civil war thing is a theory I've thought of with my friends as well, however, the nation is under Ozai's rule, they rule by fear, no one would try to overthrow him. Nice theory though, I love Zuko Alone and the Storm (they create so many theories) behind SOTN they are my favorites.

The entire conspiricy was just made up by Azula to make Ozai's sudden change of heart more believable. Which sounds more real?

Oh dad just changed his mind out of the blue after three years so come on home.

    Or.

Father needs you to help him maintain control over the throne (The more royal family members the better.)

the first part of they theory seems possible but the last part is unlikely. the so called "plots" were something Azula made up to make it more beliveable to iroh. I mean Zuko would belive anything if it included "father wants you back" but Azula knew that Iroh would be suspicious. He grew up with Ozai. He know's Ozai and wouldn't buy that out of no where Ozai wanted Zuko back.

After thinking about it more; it does??seem??more valid??that the plots were only??Azula's lies.????Either the belief that fire is the strongest element and must prevail or??secret the fire nation seems to??have them convinced that they will win the war.?? As long as they are positive of??victory they wouldn't be trying to change leadership.??
