Here we go, another possible fail thread, but I thought I should share this with you. It seems Nick has finally gave into to the idea of saying words like, "demise, die, and kill."

    http://www.nick.com/shows/avatar/index.jhtml

So there's the new episode information for The Western Air Temple (312) and The Firebending Masters (313)!

Is the Western Air Temple really that close to the Palace City? And is the Sun Warrior city really that far away? Whatever happened to 'you actually flew right over the Boiling Rock on your way over here'?

I think this causes some serious plot holes.

Look at the giant map on ASN or the S2 page for nick.com. They had a flaw. Actually the Western Air Temple should be close to the Fire Nation, yes, but it's on it's own group of mountains.

http://dvdscreenshots.avatarspiritmedia.net/101/015.jpg (See the mountain range closest to the Fire Nation that's white?)

Sorry that I can't exactly post the actual screenshot because I heard someone got supended for posting a "giant" picture, and I don't want that to happen to me for the last few episodes if you know what I mean.

Because people in Avatar can travel at the speed of plot. And I guess the same goes for location as well.

Oh, and MST3K mantra: don't worry about it too much, it's just a show. (Even though the plotholes bug me as well..)

See the mountain range just West of Ba Sing Se? That's the Northern Air Temple, which is why there's no guarantee that the white mountains above the Fire Nation house the Western Air temple.

The Northern Air Temple is on the top tip of the Earth Kingdom. That was confirmed a while back, and if you look at the map for S1, you can see it I think.

They're air nomads. They don't pay attention to geographical boundaries or territories.

I don't think that spot near the Palace City is actually the temple. Like on that map, there's a bunch of air Nomad Territory above the Fire Nation. However, the map that the Episode dots are on isn't big enough to show the Air Nomad space. That spot near the city is probably just the area in the sky where Aang said "I know a safe place where we can go!" Since its close to the last episode dot, its easier for people to follow the map and stuff. The Western Air Temple IS in that white space, and they DID pass over the Boiling Rock on thier way there. Like I said, the WAS dot is just for the ease of the viewers.
