LOL! Rock Lee! Nice! Gotta love the nice guy pose. Come to think of it, the two of them would get along great! Now I gotta edit them together. *ahem* Anyways, my favorite running gag is the cabbage merchant.

Thought you might say just that. Sorry to say.... someone beat you to it. No seriously, see for yourself - http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/38758355/

Some nice work, but I hate when people use Japanese words out of context.

Yeah some of it was out of place??but what are you gonna do, they don't speak Japanese. And that my friends is the logic behind the slightly-less-than-presentable dubbing.

Here's a thought. In one eppi there is a subplot with cn trying to get revenge on the Gaang for all his cabages and fails hil-air-e-usly.(like Inspecter Cluso's boss in A Shot in the Dark)

My personal favorite is the cough whenever someone makes a bad joke (although they've only done it in two episodes, so I'm not sure that counts as a running joke).?? Second favorite, probably whenever Aang does something goofy to to distract and/or entertain (especially the dance on stage in "The Deserter")?? Also have to give it up for Crazy Foaming Guy.

Yeah, if it's shown more than once, it's a running gag.

may come out wrong but I like Tophs bitter humour about her blindness.
"Look there it is!"......"Thats what it'll sound like when one of you see it." *waves hand in front of face*
that scene made me laugh SO hard.

It wasn't a running gag, but I absolutely loved the whole thing of Katara and Sokka being thugs when they were trying to find an earthbending teacher.?? I figured Katara had beaten those two guys up when she said she would use her feminine charms, but watching her intimidate them again later was hilarious.?? And Sokka walking backwards and doing the hand gestures when he said "Water Tribe" still makes me laugh.

    My favorte running gag:

??Sokka says or does something to Toph, forgetting her blindness, and then immedaitly says, "Sorry".

    Examples:

Toph: "I'd like my belt back now." (gets hit by the belt) "Ow!"

    Sokka: "Sorry"
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sokka: "It's so dark, I can't see see a thing."

Toph: (sarcasticly) "Oh no, what a nightmare!"

    Sokka: "Sorry"
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    (Sokka bumps into Toph)

Sokka: "Hey, can't you watch where you're..."

    Toph: "No."

    Sokka: "Sorry"

Now this is just me, but I feel that that "Look there it is thing" was the truly funny thing ever seen in this series if not on this channel. Yes they've done plenty of stuff on the show and channel that may, as critics say, "produce some smiles", but that part was something else. It used both some subtlety, trickery, and that hand wave and smile was the "co de gras". Yeah I don't know how to spell it.

All of these gags are funny as hell, although my fav is the sokka/toph being blind gags. There will always be a spot for the cabbage man "MY CABBAGES!"

Btw who is this crazy foaming guy i've been hearing about?
