God I love screenshots. The analysis is just riveting.
For the Zutarians among us, fairly awesome that it's Katara 'catching' Zuko afterall.
Especially in light of the fact that she just threatened to end his sorry firebending backside only a few eppies prior? LOL

Actually I'm the rarest breed in Avatar fandom: Shipper-neutral.
Whatever Mike and Bryan decide in the end is fine by me. I can see the benefits to all the ship possibilities.

I think this happens earlier than the finale personally. You can't see it clearly in this shot, but Suki is still wearing her BR prison garb. And in EIP she has donned FN attire.

I agree. She also was wearing FN attire in the finale pictures with Sokka when he had on his WT gear.

There's a theory going around ASN, that maybe after the Boiling Rock escape, they're followed to the WAT, but they don't know and go to sleep (after everyone changes). Zuko gets up in the morning before the rest of them (practice his firebending in the sunrise or whatever), sees the ships, and warns everyone. Sokka's scene is Zuko barging in on him to tell him they're under attack.
I like it. It lets Zuko be the one who goes into Sokka's tent

Hear's my theory:
The rescueing of Suki takes place in The Boiling Rock Part 1.
Zuko gets captured during Part 1. Somehow. I know this from a neat pic from SDCC that showed Zuko being lectured by Mai in a prison cell. Kindof her way of saying "Its not you, its me. But we can still be friends on EmoSpace."
Part 2, Zuko breaks out. Probably he is being held on one of those giant Zeppelins, which are heading to the WAT to kill/maim/disfigure/alloftheabove Aang and co.
Sokka is probably all liek "We have to go save him" and then Katara's all mean, but Suki tells her that Zuko isn't a bad guy.
And then we get the nifty picture above as Zuko jumps from the War Balloon and is saved, but poor Azula looks like she's falling to what mortals call "death."
But Azula lives. She lives.
