Did anyone notice that Avatar didnt get nominated for an Emmy

    Last years emmy was 9/16/08

This years emmy will be 9/21/08

the entry and deadline was betweeen march and june of 08

the nominations were released in july

I would believe that some episode would have been nominated

The episodes i would have nominated was either the awakening, sokka master, the puppetmaster, or the day of the black sun

or the music should have been nominated

If someone else made a topic about this sorry my bad

I dont care they didnt care if they get nominated i care that this great show got little recognition in its last season of the series

    How do you guys feel?

Since the final episodes were released after the deadline, there's always the possibility it gets nominated next year.

Don't you think an awesome finale is enough? My god, an Emmy? Its a kids cartoon, serioiusly, what category would you have nominated it under?

Not that i hate Avatar, but thats just going a bit too far.

    It's already received an emmy...

Outstanding Animated Program (City of Walls and Secrets) Nominated Individual Achievement Award (Sang-Jin Kim for Lake Laogai) Won If avatar wasn't chained to nick it would have received an emmy nomination at the very least because they wouldn't have made us wait so long before releasing the final episodes

It did not get the emmy for City of Walls and Secrets. It lost to South Park "Make Love, Not Warcraft."

Not good enough to lose to Avatar, that was freaking insulting.

Really? I loved that episode of South Park. As much as I love Avatar, I'd have chosen "Make Love, Not Warcraft" over Avatar's "City of Walls and Secrets." If it was a different episode of Avatar, like say the Boiling Rock episodes, then that'd be a different story.
