I got the Box set, and watched it, and here is my review. It was worth the price. I loved it. I loved the extras, especially the Kung Fu feature. Behind the voices of Avatar on Disc 3 was a great feature. Of the actors that was featured (disappoined Mae Whitman did not participate), everyone was very loose, and jokingly in front of the camera, except for Dante Basco. He was the most serious of all the voice actors that was featured. I guess he was still into character, Dante is a really funny person, he is a comedic rapper, so it is not his personality to be all serious. So he was still in Zuko mode. LOL He also whore a suit to the recoding studio. On the DVD, there is no Previously On Avatar segment, and the Nickelodeon logo, copyright, etc. at the end of the closing credits are chopped off. No big deal, but still would be nice to have the episodes as they aired on tv. Biggest disappointment, is the original pilot was only available with Audio Commentary by Brian and Michael. Would like to have had the choice to watch it with commentary. |
