    I think it's just supposed to be like the flash of metal you see when you swing something metal really fast.

    i'm betting that's just the blade moving VERY fast...but I wonder...Zuko seems to be a better fighter with his swords than he is without them...and we know he can Firebend through his swords...it could happen, but I'm thinkin in this instance...no

    No-no-no. The blade didn't reach out that far. It was blue fire at the end of the blade. I hope anyway.??

    yeah, that's what i was hoping too. when he did that it looked like blue fire and i was like "OH MY GOD!! TAKE THAT AZULA!!!" but then nobody said anything about it later, i thought it might have gotten some more acknowledgement, but i guess not. i really really hope it's blue fire.

    Sharpness in anime is not just an adjective. It is visible and audible. How many real knives have you heard make that sound Mai's make when all she does expose them? It's a visual/audible way to indicate sharpness. Apparently, in this case,??it worked too well.

    Although I agree with the need to exaggerate stuff in cartoons and anime with extra sounds and visuals, but it really does look like blue fire to me. Even when Zuko swings really fast, you see a flash of the entire sword,??and not a trailing??flash at the tip. But I guess we'll have to see him firebend in later episodes to be sure.

    It does sort of look like fire. But why would Zuko use his firebending when hes trying to hide it. I doubt Zuko would bend when he got mad at Iroh just for heating his tea.

    That was a good fight. But it brought up a question. Jet was the only non-bender to ever defeat Aang using his sword skills. If Zuko used his duel-wielding technique, can he defeat Aang as well? The two seemed evenly matched during their fight.

    Zuko's no Azula...if he can in fact use blue fire he probably isn't even aware of it or can control it properly...like I said Zuko to me is a better fighter with swords than when he was bending with his fists alone...its not something we can exactly rule out all together

    Aang was trying to not fight Jet. The entire fight Aang was just trying to get away from Jet and get his glider. If Aang was actually fighting back he would have won.

    And that's what I don't like about Aang...he holds back too much...his Airbender mentality prevents him from going all out...like against Azula in the "Drill"...you saw what happend when Aang cut loose..he blasted Azula back a good 50 yards when he drove the stone spike into the drill...and when he used the rock arm(a move i've been waiting a while for) to deflect Azula's point blank attack he had the perfect oppurtunity to put a stone glove uppercut to the chin and??put that sucka??in her place...but guess they gotta keep it Y7...and i'm suddenly off topic...

    Nbp, I'm throwin out a warning here. Be careful with posting pictures, because the mods came here personally to tell us no! And also, someone asked about it int he tv.com forums, and was told it is a violation. This is prolly ok, but a heads up on pictures all.
