Does anyone other than Zuko even know that Zhao is dead?

    Im sure his body washed ashore somewhere. Like the island from the beach, at that time.

    Knowing the fire nation they probably could care less if he's dead.

    It doesn't matter though, Zhao is now living in hell in bikini bottom with spongebob. Where else would the spirit put him

    Since they haven't seen Zhao since the attack on the Northern Water Tribe, they probably guessed he was dead.

    I'm pretty shure they all know he's dead. they was constantley being chased by him. So Figure they might of figured out why hasnt he showed up again.

    The last that the rest of the fire navy saw of Zhao was when he when he walked into the center of the Northern water Tribe city, where the avatar and all the surviving waterbenders happened to be, armed with only four firebenders, five komodo-rhinos, and a piece of paper. When he didn't come back I think they might have figured out what happened.

    To me, there are three posibilities and as follow.
    One: as Wise Iroh has stated.

    Two: Between trying to find an earth bending master, and making her stay, mastering the elements being chaced by Azula, trying to fing Appa, Suki, dealing with Ba Sing Si and Long Fe and the Dai Lee, Aang Dieing, Bringing Aang back, fleeing the Fire Nation, Fighting the Fire Nation, Hiding in the Fire Nation, Invading The Fire Nation, Failing at the Invation, Higing, Fighting, Globe Troting, dealing with spirits, dealing with each other, and Dealing with their complicated lifes on the whole, they might have forgotten.

    Three: They figured Azula over ruled him and told him to shove off because she wanted the Avataer, and he was a Failur.

    People in Avatar used one of the fundamental laws of cartoons, when something happens, everyone knows about it, even though it was not talked about directly to anyone. Atleast thats what I think.
