    idk but dont you think she can and then azula could just kill him there or is aang too powerful for that?

    Then he'd fall down and be helpless. Maybe Appa would come to the rescue. Basically, Ty Lee can take down anyone, unless they are really quick.

    I think she could definitly take Aangs bending away. Ther's no reason she couldn't be able to. (Yay! 100 posts)

    What kind of question is this!? Aang uses Chi like everyone else. Ty-Lee blocks chi and disables mysticism. If she touched Aang, she'd have the same effect on him that she does on everyone. This isn't the Matrix where Aang can choose if he wants to be affected by stuff like bullets, death, psoriasis, and plot.

    It may be analagous to naruto. neji took away naruto's ability to use chakra but not his ability to use the nine tail's chakra. perhaps ty-lee can block aang's ability to use chi but not the avatar's ability in the avatar's state.

    lol... HILARIOUS. but i think that she probably could take Aangs bending away... she can take everyone else's so its possible. it ould just be really hard to do because aang's just that cool.

    that's a scary thought. if ty lee could make it so he couldn't fight back or escape.... but she'd have to catch him first.

    maybe not...since ty lee affects peoples chi. But since Aang is the avatar he has more chi then any one or something like that.

    I don't think she could. Aang is the Avatar and an airbender. I say that she affected Katara because she is a waterbender. If it gets too hot, water will absore. She might affect him, but not on the same scale that she can with Katara.

    If she could get close to him and land the blows...then she could paralyze him, but as long as Aang can breathe he can Airbend. But, if Ty Lee can stop Aang from breathing...well then??I think??not Airbending would be the least of his worries...

    I think she could possibly take away 'some' of his abilities... but masters of bending can use their powers with more than just their joints.?? For instance, Toph was able to earth bend simply by moving her face and lips in the "Tales of Ba Sing Se" when she was getting the mud facial... how can you 'block' the chi of breathing???

    Same goes for Aang, he sneezes and uses his air bending... or simply blows air out his mouth.?? What would be the focal point that Ty Lee could 'stab' at to block the chi??? And remember, she tried to pop Sokka in the head to make him totally limp in "The Chase" and that didn't seem to work!??

    she wasn't trying to hit his head...his head fell into her fist and (sort of) blocked her attack

    But yeah, Aang can airbend just by breathing, so unless there is some other Chi point she can hit in the neck or something he could still airbend through his nose or mouth.

    The thing is, all he can really do with that is blow air and make strong winds in one direction. To use any of his actual attacks or techniques he would need his arms and legs, which Ty Lee should be able to disable...provided of course that she could get close enought to do it
