    I like Toko (Toph+Zuko) they have similar backgrounds their dads think they are worthless, they come from wealthy families and they both had a larger than life 'stage' persona (Blind Bandit/ Blue Spirit)

    of course I could give similar arguments for Sokka and Aang too

    I don't think Toph's dad think she's worthless, quite the opposite. More like worth so much to him, he tries to keep her safe against all odds. (Before she met Aang)

    I think they have opposite parental approaches. Ozai thinks Zuko is weak and needs to be taught through suffering. Mr Bei Fong (if he has a name, I'm not looking it up) thinks Toph is weak and so needs to be protected from the slightest suffering. The outcome is the same though; both kids are oppressed.
