Doesn't?? Avatar seem like star wars to you?
To me it kinda does. It's like an animated medieval version of Star Wars. The Force would be bending, the characters are the same, they have their own types of animals/aliens.
    I think it does.

It's also remids me of The Lord of the Rings. Ba Sing Se is Minas Tirith, The Fire Lord is Saurumon. Aang is like Frodo, the only one who can save the world.

Well, many of the Asian-based religions are based on "a force" concept like Taoism.

Lucas drew a lot from the Oriental for Star Wars, namely the concept of the force, and the Samuri-like system of a single master and a single apprentice.?? Also vader's mask and helmet mimic Samuri Armor.

Aside from these little things, as whole, the two share the same basic plot, the freedom of the world is threatened by an oppressive empire, and the only one who can save us all has to bring to the surface something unique and special about himself.

No matter how creative the creators are, you know it already been done moe than once or they got it from something else. Unsually something from 3000 years ago, or recycled stuff from the 80s. The entertainment world, go figure. Speaking of recycled crap from the 80s.??????http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4GvdTEGcGQ??Turle Power.

That movie scares alot of people but not me! Avatar is alot like Star Wars only with Aang the Avatar who was free from a iceberg from his two water tribe friends Katara and Zuko (no Sokka) and his destiny is to defeat the fire nation. I don't think Katara would be like Princess Leia becasue it doesn't fit her character. Sokka would be......who knows?!??

    The wizard of Oz???
    Hide me.
Oh and also I'm not saying the music is the same but it has equal coolty.
Appa is the millenium falcon and Momo is R2D2.
And another thing I like about avatar is the creativity and like, the Earth Train, and the legends and stuff. It has some real history ya know?
