It's a bittersweet feeling. On one hand, no more Avatar; on the other hand, the show ended before it went stale and it ended epicly.

God, I'm gonna miss Avatar. During the hiatus I thoguht I had grown away from it, but no. There's a gaping hole in my heart, kind of like when I finished the last harry Potter book. And I just watched Iroh's Tale on youtube... God, memories. Who'd have known a "kid's show" would end up such a grand and loved story?

Yeah, it's probably better that it ended before it declined in quality, (like the Simpsons has).

A 10 years later special would be quite cool, to see happens to everyone after the coronation and everything.

I'm not sad, really. I don't know why. I think the way they ended it was perfection, and it left me not wanting more. They satisfied my need. I can safely say there will be more Avatar, though, in the future, so I won't go crazy. And the buzz of a new spin off will surely convince Bryke to do one. I mean, we're desperate here! So, no, I'm not sad. I am satisfied and looking forward to the future.

I'm really sad it's over since it was such an amazing show and arguably Nickelodeon's best show (Yes I was around for all their legendary 90's shows). It also marks the last great show of Nickelodeon.

But I'm glad it ended in such a good way. Everything was pretty much answered and I'm glad Katara and Aang got together. However I wish they did (or will do) two things.

    1. Explain what happened to Zuko's mother. I hope they will make some sort of spinoff that has Zuko go find her.

    2. And more importantly I wanted an epilogue. Like a 10 or 15 years later deal. I want to see that Zuko and Mai got married, that Soka and Suki got married, and Aang and Katara are married. I also REALLY wanted to see a scene with Aang and Katara with a baby that shows some airbending skills, showing the airbenders can come back. After all everyone who was born of the air nomads was an airbender.

I would love that epilogue, but I don't want to see an older Aang. I feel like it would ruin his character for me.

Not sad...but there is some sort of emptiness...

See ever since the Pilot, you were always sure that there would be another episode coming. Even during the hiatus, you knew it was coming.

But now, it isn't coming. It's over. See, now, I'd be grateful for another "Great Divide", just to be able to spend time with the characters we have all grown to love.

You want to know how I feel?

I feel like there's an empty pit inside, like something's missing from the void, like I lost part of myself. And it kind of hurts.
And yea, still crying and it's the next day. I don't think I'll "just get over this". I still hate Nickelodeon for blowing off Avatar in one week. It's horrible.

Yeah, it makes you feel sad that it's over. I'm angry that Nick won't air anymore seasons, hopeful that another network will pick it up, and anxious that it will live up to the first season. I'm also frustrated that we probably won't see another fully blown "season" of avatar for at least 2-3 years. Next year is going to be the 3 short episodes and the year after is the live action film. So it won't be until after the film that they gage audience reaction and make another season.

    It makes me feel depressed.

Very descriptive I think a lot of people feel like that too I do. My sister and my mom thought It was weird I would feel sad and empty over a beautiful piece of animation that isnt real. But they do not understand. I kinda didnt really want Avatar to be finished in one week also but at least they kept their word for once. I wanted it to be a little stretched out but it was an amazing week and its awesome it ended how it did. Like others have said it will live on forever in our hearts oh and buy the dvd's.

I don't feel completely empty (it was a very good finale that gave me some closure), but I will miss Avatar soooooo much! I'm sure it will kick in more eventually . lol, oh WHY?!

Yes!! So true. Nick was really beginning to get on my bad side But I am really sad also and trying to deal with my empty feeling. I think I'm going to be going through this all day. Wait make that this whole week.
