Maybe they is what Ozai told Azulon to get him to change his mind about letting Iroh become Fire Lord :p

Interesting, well not considering the fact that Iroh was set to be next in line and as you may or not have noticed, he doesn't have a Z. Just felt like pointing it out.

I think that Ozai was supposed to be named in honor of Azulon, and since Ozai wanted to suck up to his dad in order to have a better shot at the throne, he named both his kids in honor of Azulon.

did anyone else notice that Suzon sounds deathly close to Susen. if he wasn't in the royal family he'd totaly get beat up everyday as a kid.

The royal family would be naming their kids in honor of previous members for their strength or prestige. It's possible that somewhere down the line there was an Iroh or Lu Ten or derivative thereof.

Ty Lee and Mai are noblewomen, but their families would be naming children based on members within their family lines.?? It's like being named for your grandfather or uncle.?? You wouldn't usually be named for someone else's relative.

If??they start banishing everyone without a 'z',then only the Royal family will be left (and they'd still wage a war on the world,the monsters!).Anyway,it's quite a pointless observation,since it does'nt tell us whether the next Fire Lord will be Zuko or Azula....
