Did Longshot put Jet out of his misery?

Did Longshot kill Jet in the end [to put him out of his misery]?
Because Toph said hes lying, and Longshot pulled his arrow and pointed it in a certain direction. It sort of confused me since he didnt point it in Jets direction... so whats up?

I think he was aiming for the door to keep guard not Jet.?? Though it looks like??Jet's blow was fatal.??

lol interesting idea but I think he was just making sure that a Dai Lee member didn't come back and kill??Jet for sure...or him and smellerbee for that matter

at first i thought he was going to kill jet, but after i thought about it it didnt make much sense. jet will probably die anyway though. i think toph said "hes lying" after jet said that he would be alright, which means wither jet will die or barely live.

Longshot was aiming at the doors, I think he was expecting more Dai Li to show up.

i highly doubt it. Even though that would probably be the best thing for jet, they're a team. they wouldn't do that without jet's permission.

why would Longshot euthanize Jet? He was just guarding the door cuz he knew Dai Li were about to storm the place...

OMG! I hope they did not kill Jet. Even though he is a villian in the show he is too cute to die!! *Sad for Jet* However, things have to be done...

I think due to his actions he can officially be classified as a hero in the story. Hopefully he'll survive so he can act on his new title.

Interesting cuz the name:??Jet, ??in Japanese is written as Jie(sp?) which means "hero"...

He started out as a bit of an Anti-hero, not really a Villain if you get right down to it.

my first thought after watching the episode was that he was going to put Jet out of his misery but I dont think Nick would allow something like that.?? I guess he was probably just guarding the door.
