Aang seemed to be attacking something in the Avatar state. This is either going to make or break the show. It wasn't just the image of him and the firelord with the "comet countdown". It was an actual preview of the finale, and it shocked me. It meant more than I think they planned. How do you think he could've managed to get back into the avatar state? I hope they come up with a good reason. If not, this will completely ruin the show. Any thoughts? Or is this a fail.

A fail because, nothing can ruin the finale. And I have a feeling he'll probably learn more of the Avatar state in Old Masters, seeing as though he talks to the previous 4 avatars.

It just kind of killed it for me. Well, of course they didn't kill it. But they revealed too much in that one preview. Yeah, that might be a great time to justify this miracle.

now that aang has learned firebending, he has restored perfect balance within himself and is now capable of going into the avatar state. These are words i expect to hear from some wise person in the show like roku or something. im sure that this will be the explanation for why aang can once again enter the avatar state

That kind of goes against everything else in the show. He died, and he was cut off from all the energy from the previous avatars. The fact that he knows all 4 elements wouldn't justify what they said. But I hope it does, ahahaha.

So you honestly thought that Aang would not go into the Avatar State?

No, I didn't think that. I was almost positive something miraculous would happen. But I didn't want that suspicion confirmed. I was sitting on the edge of my seat, hoping it might happen. Now I know it will, and it makes everything that much less epic. When I see him enter the avatar state, I won't gasp. I'll just sit there, expecting it.

but even without the comic about aang getting back the connection we knew he had already made that connection because he entered the spirit world on episode 6, so the only thing left for him to go back into the AS was getting the balance that his affection for katara made him loose, i'm guessing he just found out a way around it

I don't think you can find a way around it. I kind of hope that he gives up Katara. I love Katara to death, but I think it's kind of what's necessary. Aang needs to be in the avatar state, badly. If he trades Katara for the avatar state I'd say that he got a good deal.

IDK he can still love her IMO and be able to get to the AS, all he needs to know is that his mission come first, so that way nothing will be stopping him from doing his part as the avatar

I'm going to try and avoid the above post. See, if he knew about the mission mumbo-jumbo, he wouldn't have run away when he needed to block out Katara. He doesn't understand yet what he HAS to do.

Actually no you did not. We don't want to have spoilers from the book, or else we would've just read the book itself, so please delete your comment.
