Countdown to the Comet: A Nick.com Special

Do you think that this is a sign that Nick will actually advertise?

    I know that this isn't extremely huge, but I was going to go on turbonick and watch a few friendly episodes because I had a sudden urge to "relive the legend". But then suddenly I saw this tiny little add in one corner (not a surprise there) that said Countdown to the COMET and, naturally, I get extremely excited.

    Basically you really do relive the legend when you click it. This special allows you to vote for the best Avatar fight scenes in the whole entire series (minus the episodes that have not yet shown).

    Being the hardcore Avatatard I am, I get excited all over every little thing that's related to Avatar. So I decided to share my discovery. I kow that the fandom has been pretty darn dead and that there are attempts to help revive it a little more to its original state, but honestly, I'm glad to find any bit of Avatar news there is. So here is your Avatar news (finally) this week!

    so now we know the new episodes will air at 8 pm and sozins comet probably at 7

    and we know now the finale will be called sozins comet!!!

    I'm not liking how they are finishing the series. All the final episodes in one week. Not a fan of that idea. I prefer the one episode a week idea.

    I am going to camp for a month, and I'm not coming back until July 21st. That Means I'm going to miss Sozin's Comet, and the new episodes. Nick better show Sozin's Comet a lot of times.

    They did have a commercial of new episodes in July during the premiere of The Mighty B on Nick and also, you can see the commercial on nick on demand in the Mighty b section.

    I don't see why they have to cramp all the episodes into one week. Why didn't they spread it out? We would have watched them earlier.

    hopefully its going to be something like "you voted for your favorite battle scenes and we are goingt o show them now leading up to the all new 2 hour event"

    well that just shows that nick just wants to get rid of avatar....they just want to get the finale over with so they wont be bothered anymore by fans and avatards like us.....

    Gelem had a reason. However, it is impossible for sane people to fathom the mental wiring of such a d*ck. He posted spoilers of the finale everywhere, then pretended to be Lisa and AKB by creating accounts with slightly changed usernames.

    Fortunately, I survived the massacre by retreating to the Refuge in time thanks to the quick posting of Second Sign

    Dark Sunday(the 15th). Gelem got banned but not before he managed to ruin the ending with book spoilers. It was horrible; the Sozin's Comet Protectors were powerless to stop it. He apparently created new usernames such as "AlllKnowingBeing" to ensnare more avatards. It will almost definitely warrant a chapter in The Avatar TV.com Forum History.
