    and no no no, LightSpirit, don't apologize to me, cause I personally don't like her always being 2 steps ahead of everybody. So yeah I agree with zimtower, it's great to finally see her fall apart.

    Thanks Miroku (can I call you that?) oh and I agree with both of you it's gonna be nice to see her fall apart because that's when she'll finally realize she's just hurting herself(and that's what I was explaining on my first post...)

    Wow, Aang is definitely not getting the love here. But, it's your opinion.

    Aang is one of my favorites. He has grown a lot and he will certainly grow a lot more. I love it when a main character grow spiritually and mentally.

    Aang is one of my favorites. He has grown a lot and he will certainly grow a lot more. I love it when a main character grow spiritually and mentally.
    Some people are zutarians who dislike Aang for interfering with their beloved zutara. Others genuinely don't like the kid. Kinda harsh IMO, since he's a good kid, very down-to-earth for an omnipotent spirit.

    yeah, the world rests on his shoulders, but you know what? that's because he's got more than enough raw power to deal with it. he's just too busy feeling sorry for himself to do anything. he enjoys the pity and that's pretty lame for a main character.

    oh, and it's actually really easy to like a show and hate the main character. i love watching the superman cartoon, justice league, and JLU, but i can't stand superman.

    I'll agree with that second part. Superman's ridiculous overpowerdness is second only to Captain Omnipotent. Serious, he brings godmodding to a whole new level.

    And how often does Aang feel sorry for himself? Once, maybe twice a season. When he does he has good reason to. And he enjoys the pity? Is that how you interpret it?

    he had more than a few "poor me" moments in the first two seasons, but he's spent most of season 3 so far talking about what a failure he is as an avatar. that's pretty much what self pity's all about.

    i'm not saying he has no redeeming qualities, i'm pointing out why some people find him so annoying. given the nature of this thread, it's silly for miroku to challenge energyfire's initial response to this thread by asking for a reason, but it downright ridiculous to challenge that reason as well.

    I Don't really hate any Characters I love them all especially Sokka But, if I had to choose I Guess I would choose Meng
