I think the age gap is pretty large, not sure if they'll ever cover it and a part of me hopes they don't. Sometimes its good when subjects remain open for debate. Iroh seems to be in his late fifties but I guess I'm still a little surprised about something. Being fifty or sixty usually isn't THAT old, at least not in my family. Got an uncle fit as an ox, my dad's hair isn't even half-gray and he keeps going like the Energizer Bunny. Iroh has extraordinary skills, but doesn't have either the stamina or refinement in my opinion like some other old dudes of Avatar have. Pakku, Jeong Jeong, and Bumi seemed as strong as they had been in their prime. With Iroh you get the sense he's weary of the world, the other oldies NOT. Maybe it's because he's been beaten down by life more than them, the devastating lose of his son. Damn, if I lost my child I'd probably end up in a mental institute.??
