    I don't think the pairing is weird, just.....wrong. Though if Azula wasn't so young (or Zhao so old) then I think it'd be an interesting pairing.

    Of course, Zuko wouldn't be too happy.

    I was joking. And from my understanding, Avatar Day isn't until season two. Sokka's new love interest appears episode 18, I think.

    And coincidentally, if I'm right about the two week gap. Episode eighteen will air on Nov 18.

    The same day Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire hits theaters.

    Screw Harry, he's does nothing but whine the last two books. Somebody has anger management problems.

    Harry: I don't have anger management problems, I manage to get angry just FINE!!

    funny, at first I was so against Jake Long's character because it was a "gangster wannabe" type. Course I still am, but over the summer, I got as desperate to HEAR the voices of some avatar voicing people, I would watch Jake Long just for the voices

    but now avatar's back on, YAYAY!

    anyways..azula backwards is aluza..or A losa...or A loser...lol found that out just now

    Yeah, I noticed that too but this one guy who knew people that worked around Avatar or something said it was Azula and her nickname is Zula. Don't know, don't care. We won't be seeing her again until season 2. At least, that's what I heard.

    I had a very similar idea about their personal relationship as well.

    Zuko is obviously more honor-bound then his evil-incarnate sister. My guess is that he is as adverse to her and will oppose and fight her if he has to. On a more personal level however, he may still love her as a brother would a sister and will be there for her as her brother. Blood is thicker than water.

    But only so thick. Unlike he, I think it's a safe bet to assume she has no love for him. At all.

    Of course, we won't know anything until her debut. I wonder who they'll pick to be her voice actor. Any suggestions?

    Actually, I would go to HPatGF premeire rather than seeing the new episode.

    ME!...no. I wish. And maybe at some point, Zuko and Azula weren't so...hate hate. Come on, they're siblings, there HAD to be love at some point...

    I think so too. Zuko's own little flashback at the end of "The Storm" is evidence of that. Or she may have always been a spoiled brat...

    As for her voice actor (please don't smite me) I thought maybe...Olivia d'Abo? I haven't seen any of the movies she's been in or even that many TV appearances, but she did do some lovely voice work on Invader Zim. She gave Tak a very delightful menacing and calculating tone. Minus the accent maybe, I think the discerning sultry voice (with a bit of a girlish undertone) would fit perfectly.

    Really? I would imagine any mother would feel that way, not just a conservative one. What mother wants her kid exposed to a show with romance involving a 40 year old man and a teenage thats Y7? I dunno, I could be wrong, but its not just conservatives that feel that way......

    BTW, that (Zhao/Azula) is about as sick as Zhao/Ozai. *shudders*

    I really can't see nick putting that pairing on...I can't see them putting any pairings with major stuff at all. But who cares, I don't watch avatar for shipping, I watch it for the goodness of bending and avatarish...still, it makes you wonder. Somehow, I have a hunch avatar writers are willing to defy the traditional 'goody two shoe' plots. avatar shocked me with the 'floosie' part. Hopefully theres more of that...avatar writers haven't failed me yet...
