Somehow I can see her being the main villian until the end of the show. I don't know what nick could possibly do to her besides kill her and that would be a little to obvious in the season finale

wow...some really good points, specially with the "gifts" thing. I never thought of that...

anyways, about the age difference. I'm pretty sure long ago, age wasn't a factor in marriage...since woman didn't have a say. But I guess that's not how it works in avatar...and Azula and Zhao IS pretty gross. oh god, nightmares. but it would be interesting...two perversed noble/royal.

still *nightmare* no, please don't attack me hopping sheep. one sheep, two sheep..noooo

I really can't see nick putting that pairing on...I can't see them putting any pairings with major stuff at all. But who cares, I don't watch avatar for shipping, I watch it for the goodness of bending and avatarish...still, it makes you wonder. Somehow, I have a hunch avatar writers are willing to defy the traditional 'goody two shoe' plots. avatar shocked me with the 'floosie' part. Hopefully theres more of that...avatar writers haven't failed me yet...

Yeah, Avatar is really pushing the limits. Gyatso's skeleton, talk of spirits (some Religious people would be against that), the fact that a ten-year-old said "floozie." *giggle giggle* *ahem* Who knows?

Floozie isn't the wrost thing a ten year old girl said on the Nick channel. In one Hey Arlond episode, they let Helga say 'Crap'
And I shutter at the mere thought of what Avatar would be like if 4Kids ran it.

Oh gawd... If 4Kids ran it it would be.. I can't even say it because it's such a horrible thought..

I think Azula is just spoiled. She couldn't hold herself together in half the situations Zuko has been in.

Well if this show was on 4kids most here wouldn't be watching this show!

Also I would like to reitterate my point as making Azula the official coolest character this season. Jun tops her slightly overall, though

Agreed. 4Kids messed up Cardcaptors so badly that I wanted to scream at them for killing a great show.

And I concur, Azula is the coolest character--I wish they would bring June back too.

Yep, Azula is a cool character... she shows the real nature of the FN, at least what the FL wants it to be.

Ozai wants the Fire Nation to burn their candles at both ends? The candle that burns twice as bright only burns half as long.

I think Azula is really amazing and awsome. Her bending is frigen awsome! I have been wondering though, if Fire Lord Oazi is the most powerful firebender in the world, and suposedly, only Oazi can defete the Avatar. How much more powerful than Azula can he get?! She has defeted Aang many times. Nearly almost every time they faced off!

So what will happen to Azula now that she is stationed, I presume, in Ba Sing Se? Will there be a new villian? Will we ever see a version of her story? I mean, almost everyone else had an episode of their own.

This is a very wacky theory but I'm going to try it out. In the seasons of Avatar that we have so far, Uncle Iroh has not once referred to Azula as his neice. Not once. While Zuko has referred to Azula as his sister, and Iroh has referred to Zuko as his nephew. Well, there has been speculation about maybe Zuko being Iroh's biological son, because he had an affair with Ursa. Which would be interesting, and awesome in a way--but I'm kinda of a Urzai fan. So why doesn't Iroh refer to Azula as his niece? Maybe because he's ashamed of her--or doesn't really see her that way, cuz she doesn't seem like family, etc. Or could it be for another reason? After all, Iroh has referred to Ozai as his brother before....

So what if, Azula was really Iroh's daughter? XD Told ya it was wacky, but hey I gotta try. ^_^ Yes, yes there is the fact that Iroh is more like Zuko because they are both kind-hearted (sorta) but just because your like that, doesn't mean you got it from your parents--and if it did, Zuko could've got it from Ursa. Anyway, Zuko doesn't seem too fond of tea; while Azula can be seen drinking tea when Ty Lee poured her some. Coincidence? Maybe. But I've always wondered why Iroh has never called Azula his niece. And then my mind got carried away.

Wow, you know what I actually think that is odd but it was a very good theory you thought of.?? It sounds too unbelievable to be true, but Azula didn't seem to hate tea at all and Iroh never call Azula his niece but did refer Ozai??as his brother before.?? Boy, Avatar fans will really be more shock than Zuko's decision to join Azula if that did happen.

I like that theory...I've heard it before, but it's still cool. If it were true, then Azula obviosuly doesn't know. After all, how many times has she referred to Iroh as "Uncle" or Zuko as "Brother" or Ozai as "Father" (I could go on lol) ?

^ both prev. posts. Thank you! ^_^ I had been watching the second season finale, and that just popped up in my head. LoL ^_^ Azula being Iroh's daughter with Ursa, would be very interesting... if that did happen, I could see Azula breaking down, finding out her life was a shame. Though that would give her more of a reason to be heir to the throne...

If Azula is Iroh's daughter then he must have had an affair with Ursa when Zuko was about 1 (which would have annoyed Ozai). Also how would Iroh know Azula is his daughter when his brother does not (other than learning about it in the spirit world, or Ozai ignored all the evidence because Azula was so talented and Zuko didn't notice)?

Even if Azula is Iroh's daughter it would be impossible to prove it because any trait that she could have gotten from Iroh she could also have gotten from her grandfather (Azulon). Chances are if Iroh tells Azula she is his daughter she won't believe it.

I greatly admire Princess Azula. She is a very interesting character and her skills in both firebending and people manipulation are truly excellent. I do wish people would stop seeing her so one-dimensionally though. They either think she's a sad little girl inside, or an insane demon of pure evil.

Well, she is evil but she's also a person. Do I even need to say what's wrong with the sad little girl scenario? Azula seems mainly to be a sociopath. In other words, she has a certain difficulty connecting or empathising with people. She believes she is perfect, even when there is evidence to the contrary, and she also seems to have a need to be perfect. Therefore, even when she cares for people, and she does care by the way, she will still order them around as she thinks that is the natural order of things. And if they disobey her orders, she will take it personally, as an act of betrayal to their 'friendship'. The funny thing is, she probably does think of what they had as a proper friendship. She seems to think that the only way of keeping people around her is by making them fear her. Or by offering them something they badly want. She was stung by her mother's favouring of Zuko over her, and also by her mother thinking she was a monster. On the other hand, she genuinely enjoys hurting/terrifying/defeating other people and thought that Zuko's mockery of Ty Lee, despite being obviously meant to hurt the circus girl, was funny. (The Beach)

In other words, there's more to Azula than first meets the eye, but I wish more people would also take into account what does meet their eye before making her into someone she is not.
