Perhaps it would be more helpful for someone to post a note and sticky it to the top of the forum which reads a little something like this: (the real way the forum??is run)

Welcome to the forum! We are very happy you stopped by but you should be aware of the following??things:

1. If you have the grave??misfortune??of??mistakingly wording??a thread in the form of a question, at??least 10 or more??forum posters at Level 3 or higher will proceed to relentlessly tell you to go to the 'Ask a Question, Get an Answer' thread even if your question is one which would make a spectacular topic for us ALL to discuss.

2. Even though we all LOVE Avatar if you make the mistake of starting a "Yay, I love Avatar!" thread you will be mercilessly made??fun of and told your thread is worthless, unimportant and a waste of forum space even though we all enjoy the show just as much as you do.

3. Many people here on the Avatar forum live in their mother's basement or don't have a girlfriend and because of this have made 2,000 or more posts and literally LIVE on this forum. They tend to have a perpetual facial twitch and are the first ones to go postal when they see duplicate threads. This is of course is??due to the fact??that they have not seen real sunlight or three-dimensional people in a very long time and??as a result take??the forum rather seriously. Note: These are the posters??who equate creating a duplicate thread with murder in the first degree and react??accordingly.

4. Be prepared while you are learning the ropes to hear a lot of whining, moaning and general belly-aching from veteran posters who scoff at your puny thirteen posts and your Level 1 status.
