I hear that Season 3 of Avatar: The Last Airbender is going to probably finish after season 3 is finished, but I still think that they should continue it even though the prob with ozai would be resolved. The question is how or what could they write for the plot after season 3. Try to think of new conflicts (that would involve battle [one of the best part of this show]). Anything else you add would be greatly appreciated. I would try to brainstorm on this idea, but I need some ideas so I can develop them.

I just really don't want this show to end!!! my theory is that the directors were creative enough to make this show (because it is like no other); therefore they could be creative enough to find a way to continue this show.

Well, they could do Avatar: Creating Avatar Babies where Aang and Katara try to revive his culture...

    Kidding, kidding.

The creators could have a civil war within the Fire Nation.

maybe aang will die, and they'll show a new avatar, and his new friends, and a whole new fire lord and the cycle starts all over again. but with different characters. kinda like digimon. then they could bring the old characters back in the next season. that would be kinda cool.

I really hope that was sarcasm.

Even if they did do another spin off, it would probably suck, and wouldn't do justice to the avatar name.

The only thing they could do without boring everything is show a 1-2 episode epilogue on them grown up. :/

maybe they can think of a new element and the few ppl that control that element start off as a small pop. but then expanding and making an empire b/c their element seems to be more superior... just a thought.... or maybe the kids could find out that there are two spirit worlds and the other is trying to control the world and make ppl become eternal slaves by??use something like sozan's comment (it will have a??date)??that will give them the power to cross into the regular world and use their powers (wutever they are) to rule... meanwhile Aang is sent the message while sent into the avatar state that he must master something.... i don't know.... ill work on it... but thats just what I have so far

I just hope they don't ruin the whole series.
I think restoring balance is the last thing Aang would do.

Even if they could extend the series, they'd have to make Aang grow a little older or else they'll be finding another voice actor.

I'm sure if Nick gives the creators the go ahead for more season that they could come up with something. Probably a whole new spin on the show that we haven't even imagined. They've spun twists into the current show that many couldn't have predicted...who knows what they could cook up, but that's so far into the future, it's best to not worry about it yet

    ...AVATAR THE MUSICAL.

Yes, I know, people have been already talking about that.

The only spin I'm afraid of that Nick will pull on the show is that they make them grown up. I swear they're really obsessed with making their characters grow up.

Now, I'm placing my hope on the writers. Go them.

I love the Fire Nation civil war idea. I think that that could definitely happen.

They could just find a new bad guy or maybe have the war continue.

THe problem is how does Aang get rid of the new Fire lord? He would have to "accidentally" fall into a pit of ice shards or something.

I guess we shouldn't worry about it like Eman said. :/

Oh man, I hope your wrong about that. That would really annoy me. That's the saem thing that happened with samurai jack. I felt so empty and incomplete, when they fininshed the show with no real ending. But lucky, I don't think that would happen with avatar, it's jsut too popular to not finish. And the creators said that they really wanna finish it the way they planned it originaly.

I want the show to have an end and not just end all of a sudden for sure but i also feel if it simply ended with the defeat of Ozai it would feel unfinished as well.

Well, there will still have to rebuilding, but that's a different show, a different myth.

I can't see Avatar after the war having the same conflict, the same gravitas. It's a different show, and probably a worse one. Avatar = end at season 3.
