There should be a book 4 abt Zuko and more of his backstory.

don't think so
The name of the book is related to which element Aang is going to learn... "Air" was his first element, I don't think he will learn it again... If there is a "Book 4" I don't think it will be "Air"... Only if it's a new Avatar...

What would be the point in that? The master of all four but he/she is the only the master of three. (I'm assuming that Aang is the last Airbender and there are no Airbenders at the Western Temple) Which would be pointless.

aanf has already mastered airbending, only airbending masters have arrows
At the last ComicCon expo, Brian confirmed to the fans a half-dozen times that this was the last season of Avatar. From the very beginning, they had only planned to make 3 seasons, that was their agreeement with Nickelodeon...
Why would they make such a choice? Why end a good thing, since they're on a roll?
Because when you run a good series for too long, it starts to lose its luster... fast. The "quit while you're ahead" phrase is a safe choice.
HOWEVER, they are not done with the Avatar world! They are not quitting altogether! While they are ending the story of Aang in a grand-finale, they want to make a "spin-off" per se that still has all the bending and epicness we love, but it'll have a different story and characters. It's sad, I know, but I understand their choice and have to agree with it. There is no Book of Air, there is a brand-new Avatar show coming.
Or so they hope... until Season 3 is done, we still have to hear the official word from them.
