I did like Toph when we were first introduced to her in blind bandit, I really though this was a great, unique, character that had a lot of potential. But 20+ episodes later, that potential has been wasted. Every single main character has changed dynamically except Toph. She's still her old, sassy, tough self. Hasn't changed a bit.

And she god-mods waaay too much, i mean hasn't she even lost one fight? And now all of a sudden they decide to rig her with even more power? (metalbending) c'mon on, show me some realism here. But I guess you can't blame Mike and Bryan for making her like that, she's just been swept aside by the ohter more imoprtant characters and thier development. Her uber powers is all she has. I mean, she has less lines than Appa. There's just not enough room in the show to develop her any more, cause the show needs to focus on the main plot and stuff that's actaully important to it.

And that's my Toph's my least fav main character. (altho I wouldn't even called her a main character, she should just go run around and play with Haru, and the other 2 stooges)

He might die, but usually in a character's mentor either dies or leaves them, so the character then has to come to terms on their own. But since Zuko is kind of without iroh now i don't think that he'll die. It's usually one or the other.
