Boiling Rock Pt. 1 and Pt. 2 Speculation Forum

    i also wonder when zuko is going to go look for his mom since he is supposed to look for her sometime during this season. i suspect he will be like in the earth kingdom looking and then get caught by fire nation soldiers or somehting like that.

    Yeah totally, I know we found out at least that she's still alive, but I really want to know more about Ursa...she's a very enigmatic character in this series, like Koh and Lu-ten

    btw, do you think that the boiling rock pt 1 and 2 both count as Ch. 14? The season should have 20 episodes right? if we count each part as one episode then this season has 22 episodes (taking into account DoBS 1/2, plus TBR 1/2)

    Unless the boiling island happens to be nearby...yeah that would pose a problem wouldn't it? Maybe they steal some boats at night or something...or maybe Katara will do the Moses thing and separate the sea...that would be an awesome scene...lol

    I don't mean to be rude, but the title of this forum says: "Boiling Rock Pt. 1 and Pt. 2 Speculation Forum"...i.e. it's speculation about the episode, not spoilers! It hasn't even come out yet!

    If it makes you feel better, all our predictions are probably wrong anyway...mine probably are anyhow...

    I have my doubts about the prisoners going to WAT, because if we are talking about an island here then, how is Appa going to transport all of them to WAT? Unless Appa makes a lot of trips. Taking over that fire nation prison and plan an attack from there could be an option too.

    i dont think that the prisoners will be going to the WAT. i think that the next time we see them will be at the end of the season when they are liberated. idk y, but i have this feeling that someone is going to die from the group of adults. like i think hakoda will die just cause he has that injury and like it would get infected and yeah so idk.... what do you guys think?

    i think i was one of the first to come up with the prison idea!
    first, subplots:
    iroh: iroh goes to the O.W.L to seek help, there he learns zuko is a traitor and that zuko and the gaang are in the WAT, he then teams up with piandao (sokka's master) to go to the WAT to join them.
    azula: ozai is angry with azula for her supreme c*ck up in ba sing se, he tells azula ursa is hiding somewhere in the fire nation and tells azula to find ursa so she can be 'brought to justice'. (because ever since DOBS people have been taking about ozai being weak)
    azula gathers her friends and tells them they have a new mission to find ursa, they go to a place called the boiling rock to find someone with info on ursa.

    now, main plot:
    sokka has figured out that with zuko's knowledge of the FN he can tell them where the invasion force and kyoshi warriors are being kept, they make a plan to go to 'the boiling rock' a prison in the middle of a lake that is boiling hot due to being near a dormant (yet still hot) volcano, the lake can't be crossed by ships due to it's heat, and appa can't fly over because he will be shot down by guards. (there is a way across i just can't be bothered to explain it)
    long story short, they go in the prison, aang, katara and zuko get trapped in a cell, lots of character development, katara forgives zuko (NO SHIPPING I REPEAT NO SHIPPING), sokka and toph have a bit of character development too, (something about sokka feeling guilty for letting suki down)they bust out, find teh invasion force and kyoshi warriors, super special awesome fight between aang, sokka and toph v azula, mai and ty lee, they get away, the 3 stooges (haru, teo, duke) leave with the invasion force/kyoshi warriors, suki joins the group yadda yadda the new gaang return to WAT.
    end.
    i would like that but katara has to be in the fight.

    Does anybody notice that Aang and the gang currently only have 1 goal in mind and that's teaching Aang to firebend. Now that he has a teacher(Zuko), I think that the first episode in this 2 parter will mainly be focusing on that training. Anything after that, I won't speculate on, but here are a few things that I'd like to see.....

    1. King Bumi!!! Whatever happened to Aang's long lost friend?

    2. More romance between Aang and Katara (So far it's been like he never even kissed her on "The Day Of Black Sun")

    3. The Duke actually doing something (Out of all the "tagalongs" The Duke is the best in my opinion)

    4. The last thing I would LOVE to see is for people to STOP talking about Zuko and Katara as an item. The story has ALWAYS been about Aang being in love with her. Zuko has a girlfriend! Why would he want Katara? Can we PLEASE get over this?!?!

    Aang + Katara FoReVeR!!

    Tomtitan's info is very interesting, but there's something that bugs me. Is really Azula a so mean and miserable monster that she will surrender her own mother to the FireLord?. (After all, don't forget that Ursa doesn't stop to being the mother of Zuko and Azula).

    I would hate Kataru (?) as much as I would hate Maiko; simply because the relationship is between a major character and some second rate character who hardly shows up and people don't knowthat much.

    I might blame nick more than Ytv. But I definately blame Ytv too. They are the ones who out of the blue air an episode and then decide to begin at the beginning the next week, right?

    I blame all cartoonchannels for not airing cartoons on a regular basis with good commercials that stick to their promises when they say 'ten straight weeks' and stuff like that. Not channels that just air a different show or an old episode when everyone MIGHT assume there could be a new episode. They decide to make it up with marathons, but I rather have showson a regular basis than a marathon ofwhich you don't know whether there will be new episodes.

    Nick is the one to blame, first the schedulce, we were supposed to get the episode 3 hours before the US, then Nick forced them to change the air time. At least, we got 2 new episodes, I've nothing agaisnt them anymore, I can wait. Ytv is a lot better than Nick.
