Personally, I don't think this is the last we'll see of the Blue Spirit. As a matter of fact, I have a little theory.

I believe the Blue Spirit will return in the next episode during Zuko's spiritual crisis, as a sort of incarnation of Zuko's desire to fulfill the destiny his father placed before him. Zuko will then have to defeat this Blue Spirit to truly rid himself of Ozai's destiny.

    Comments?

You have great theories! I was also thinking the same thing but i thought his mom would be there helping him too or showing him what he could become kinda like scrooge or something. Alos maybe telling about her where abouts?

Just a thought: Blue Spirit CAN do things Zuko can't, most of us agree on that. I was reading over this when that line from 'Batman Begins' popped into my head. I got it from "Movie Mistakes . com", FYI:

"People need dramatic examples to shake them out of apathy. I can't do this as Bruce Wayne. A man is just flesh and blood and can be ignored or destroyed. But as a symbol... as a symbol, I can be incorruptible, everlasting."

    Think on it.

Up until recently I was not a "hardcore" fan of Zuko but lately I've been really emotional for some unknown reason and I recent saw a re-airing of "Zuko Alone" and I found that I share alot in common with this character. As a new Zuko fan I for one am going to miss seeing him as the Blue Spirit. IMO he did some of his best fighing as the Blue Spirit. Farewell "Blue".

Yeah, he kicked arse as the blue spirit because he was like a ninja and ninjas are cool. Hopefully his giving up on the Blue was for the better, and in calming his inner turmoil, maybe he can start to bend lightning.

I agree, ninjas are very cool, and his Blue Spirit ego was very much like a ninja. I liked it best because he didnt use his firebending, just plain old raw skill with those twin swords. i wish i had those swords, they're sweet!

I think Blue is a part of Zuko. He may have 'let it go', but it'll always be there....

Very nice quote. It might work for the Blue Spirit, but I don't think he is as popular as Batman. Otherwise, yeah.

It's time for him to go through a change. It's like everyone's moving on except him. Zuko cannot get left behind and I'm sorry, Iroh, but I don't see him spending his life in a tea shop no matter how extravagent.

How can you tell? Do they look different or something? If so, could you post some screencaps? If not, how do you know?

No, that was a replica carved with wood. It's pretty clear from the texture of the face. It's not a mask either, it's an entire head.

Spiderman threw it away when he couldn't take it anymore, but snapped out of it when his girl was taken and knew the only way that no one would know it was him was to put on the mask.

Zuko on the other hand doesn't need to hide behind the mask.?? I agree it was a way for him to be who he really is without anyone knowing (sort of the batman bit) however, uncle told him to leave it behind for a reason.

Another point, as the blue spirit, we learn just how skilled Zuko is without his firebending.?? So far we haven't seen Azula good at anything other than firebending and lightning.?? Solar eclipse anyone??? How would that turn out?

Well thats not intirely true,??while she??is primary??a fire bender, she was able to keep Zuko in "Avatar State" with using fire bending.

And as for the blue spirit. I'm gonna miss him just because he showed the side of Zuko I liked. As Zuko, he always fought out of anger and rage, as the blue spirit he cool, presise and deadly.

Now lets see if that side will die with the blue spirit.

Adreniline, sweet unhindered adreniline.??Anway, when Zuko fought back on her ship, she didn't use any fire bending except when she created lightning.
