Well I don't know which I liked better. Cliffhangers always leave me wanting more, which has its pros and cons, but closure is just that....closure. So I guess I'll go with TCoD, only because it lets my imagination take me. However, and this may just be me, but is Avatar starting to seem ALOT like Star Wars. Season 1 finale- Destruction of the Fire Navy, New Hope- Destruction of the Death Star. Plus the whole Aang leaving before his training is done is almost exactly like Luke. Also The Fire Nation/Empire won in the second part....just throwing it out there.

I like cliffhangers, but I also like closure much more.?? Cliffhangers the viewer has somewhat of an idea how the season premiere will start.?? Closure the viewer has no idea how it will start giving I think more possibilities to think of because there was no lead-in like how there is in a cliffhanger.??

"The Guru" by itself wasn't anything, but when combined with "The Crossroads of Destiny," they were amazing. "The Guru" was all set-up.

Zukos sudden betray, for his uncle made this finale feel... odd. I prefer?? season 1 finale.

That made it better because everyone was expecting the normal movie crap bad guy turning good. Then they owned everyone

c'mon, this one was the best because it was soo unpredictable. True it was unpredictable in SOTN when aang turned into a giant water fish, but we pretty much guessed that one way or another the good guys would win. Isn't that how TV shows work?
But in this one everyone got shocked at Toph's abilities, zuko's choice, and aangs almost dieing and all that jazz.
I'd rather be surprised then satisfied, because what's the point of watching if you already can guess what's going to happen?

Yeah well Katara was owning them both one on one. And if Aang could you know....fight....things would've been a hell of alot different. But yeah I must agree that I'm glad they didn't pull the bad guy becoming good "movie crap" however Zuko will likely turn good by the end.

argh, this epi was so dissapointing. i mean, there was a decent amount of real cool bending but like, they didnt make use of the octopus stance (i wantses it!), and idk. the only really cool part was aang getting struck by lightning. additionally, the earth king is useless incarnate.

Man, I can't believe no one likes a "bad ending". This stuff was intense. Watching Zuko unleash everything and choose to choose wrong was INCREDIBLE. This is the best ending to anything I've seen since Empire.
